philly for my tour two days ago. they are identified address devon picket. and j.j. parker. the two went with a grouch of friends to cha bar and grill. the place was cloeszing and they were leaving please say the men got into an argument over a woman outside of the bar punches were thrown and the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed them multiple times. picket did not survive. >> the first victim a 29-year-old male was stabbed multiple times in his torso left side he was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. within minutes after being transported to the hospital by private auto. >> police say that the suspect drove away from the bar in a

>> that is saying a lot. lets go to meteorologist adam joseph. >> by friday morning we see temperatures the lowest they have been in 21 yours ice is building up again and as we look at sky 6 hd westbound, the sunshine we have much of the day is starting to fade as high clouds push in ahead of the front. as we look at temperatures 30 in philadelphia 29 in wilmington and 28 in wildwood and 29 in allentown and this is very balmy compared to what is coming thursday and again on friday. >> as we talk about the weather across the lower 48 what happens typically on the west coast is like a seesaw it's a tale of two februarys, on the west coast, denver temperatures 11 degrees above normal and las vegas close to that and salt lake city, utah, 16 degrees above normal.

and the rest of the country, 7.5 degrees below normal. and boston 12 degrees below normal and new york city 10 degrees below normal. double scan live radar here is the arctic front we see snow showers with it not a solid line it's scattered and that is the general trend as you go through the evening hours even at 7:30 we start to see the snow showers breaking out in the western suburbs, not everyone will be hit but if you do you see a quick coating to an inch, it's light fluffy snow and philadelphia to the south and pushing off the coast after midnight and quick clearing as the winds whip up after midnight. with the snow showers and arctic front between 7:00 and midnight where they hit they could be quickly heavy coating the ground for an inch and low visibility and roads turn slick.

tonight though, after the early isolated snow showers, the brutal winds are the star of the show and temperatures drop back to the teens but the windchills by tomorrow morning shs once again dipping below zero so the 14, 15 at 6:00 tomorrow morning will not feel like that, close to 10 degrees below in the suburbs and 0 in center city. tomorrow windchills near zero the entire day with scattered flurries nastd floon, 19 for a high and a 21 year chill to start on friday with the 1 degree in philadelphia and below zero in the suburbs. on saturday evening snow breaks out in somewhat of a mix most is dry at 33 and sunday warm air quickly changes this storm over to rain for everybody as we approach 50 degrees the second half of the weekend, now we have been talking about the cold and how brutal it is but alicia

now to the accuweather forecast. adam joseph i can't believe it's going to get colder than we had already. >> in 23 years i think we haven't seen a temperature this cold. hopefully the last hit of arctic air. spring is just a month or so away, double scan live radar we had a lot is of sunshine today and clouds are starting to build and between lancaster and reading, some gray is popping up and light flurries are developing and we are awaiting an arctic front that will pull through here in the next couple

of hours. trenton and wilmington and reading and in millville, all areas tried to hit the freezing point and upper 20s, we'll take it with that sunshine the clouds are pushing in for the snow showers. and west of state college, a few hours away before some of us get hit by a couple of snow showers, they are scattered and not everyone sees them and still west of lancaster and reading and they push towards philadelphia and again if you get kind of interrupted or so by snow showers, a coating to as much as and inch in some locations. they are off the coast at midnight as the stars reappear. that low will redevelop east of boston, that will help syphon the strong arctic polar winds in from the north. we are talking temperatures 10

to 20 degrees below average, up to 35 miles per hour. we go back to the windchill danger. tomorrow morning with the gusts of 35 they will feel 0 to 10 below and friday morning, on top of record lows that are likely broken across the area, the windchills will dip below 25 and 15 degrees below 0 to start the end of the week. for tonight though scattered snow showers around and otherwise everyone will feel the brutal winds kicking through tonight. and the real feel temperatures are below zero and a couple of flurries and the entire day 19 for a high, on friday morning and the 21 year chill to start. in philadelphia since 1979 we hit the forecasted one degree and in allentown 2 degrees below 0 to start and trenton 6 below is the start and we expect lower
