wednesday night, the big story on "action news" tonight is it late word from accuweather. we have seen squalls and flurries but the bigger story is the plunging wind chills for the morning once again falling below zero. double scan radar and adam joseph. >> the squalls through western parts of philadelphia near lancaster and reading, they had a lot of energy with them. now they have really fallen apart as they push into southern new jersey losing steam and moisture. and seeing light gray on double scan live radar, along the garden state parkway. a few flurries at the point. passing through parts of berks county, this video sent in by mark. you see a great example of what a snow squall is.

it is a blinding real fast-moving wall of white. a whiteout. with heavy snow strong winds, you really can't see a few feet in front of you. quick accumulation of 1-2 inches of snow in 15 to 20 minutes and then it moves on. again lots of steam in southern new jersey. but now the wind crank up overnight and the temperatures plummet. in fact by tomorrow morning, wind speeds 34 in lancaster, 20 in wilmington 30 at the shore and 31 in millville. with the wind and dropping temperatures, when you walk out the door tomorrow morning it will feel between 6 and 9 degrees below zero in the northwestern suburbs, and 5 below in philadelphia and to the south 2 and 4 degrees below zero. the numbers fall further on friday to record levels and we talk about that in the full accuweather forecast. >> thank you adam. and live to market street in center city philadelphia.
