entire weekend hay in happy valley for a great cause. first though, let's head outside to chris sowers for the accuweather forecast. on top of the triple threat we have the freezing cold. e. temperatures right now in some locations have dropped all the way down to 4 or 5 below zero. we have new records set in millville. dropped to 6 below this morning. atlantic city, 4 below that was the reading that came at the airport. on the boardwalk it's milder. trenton set a new record low of 5. quakertown you dropped down to 1 below you're up to 3. pottstown, 3 coatsville, 2 warrington 6. center city, 10. glassboro, 4. minus 2 in seaville. you only have to go a couple of miles inland to get into the cold stuff. on the boardwalk they are sitting at 20 degrees in atlantic city that's thanks to the ocean influence.

ocean temperatures are in the low 30s, on the coast you're a little bit milder. you go inland you can see how dramatically the numbers drop off. storm tracker 6 live double scan as we set it in motion, here's the moisture we're watching. lots of snow across ohio valley. lake erie, 98% ice covered. eastern portions of ohio dropped 35 degrees below yesterday morning. there's plenty of cold weather in place. as this moisture moves on into the region it will fall in the form of snow. here's what to expect, later this afternoon and into the evening hours, reading lancaster, easton, it's a snow event. it will come down heavy at times, expect mixing of sleet and freezing rain across the i-95 corridor, 1:00 p.m., it starts out as snow and mixes with sleet and freezing rain and expected to end as rain tomorrow morning. the jersey shore it will start

after a stair collapse in philadelphia's hunting park section. it happened in the 3200 block of north phillips street. the woman was walking on the stairs and they gave way. the department of licenses and inspections is investigating. a penn state university fraternity is facing sanctions for alleged hazing. they were suspended in december after the university received a letter alleging that the fraternity members were hazed. they will be permitted limited activities that suspension ends in a week. the lawyer for jerry sandusky is facing legal troubles of his own. he is accused of stealing $535,000 from three former clients. authorities say he used the cash to feed a gambling habit. he said he is ready to take the
