seeking to fly to syria one was arrested at jfk airport when he was getting ready to board the flight and the second individual had a later flight scheduled and was arrested at home in brooklyn and a third individual we believe helped to organize and finance the trip and the other was arrested in jacksonville florida by agents and is being detained. that mean has a tie to philadelphia police say that the alleged money man ran mall kiosks here in jacksonville and savannah, georgia. we are trying to get information where he operated locally. all three men are in custody as of this afternoon. stay with "action news" for continuing coverage live in the satellite center i'm sara bloomquist channel 6 "action news" back to you. >> thank you sara.

now to an investigation that started in delaware and went to new england and ended with an emotional reunion for a mother and her daughter, and the man who abducted her made his first appearance in court. >> the child was found safe in massachusetts and the man that took her is about to come back and face charges and we hear for the first time from the girl's mother, she talked to chad pradelli in minquadale. >> reporter: she says her daughter is doing really well and the reunion late last night was the best birthday present she could have severed. 3-year-oldal more trotta danced and like any other toddler, her mother says she is perfect.

>> she is happy to be home, that is all she asked me last night, are we going home? she got to fly on the plane for the first time. >> they found elinor trotta in massachusetts and her father after a multistate amber alert was issued. they said that trotta had a knife and was trying to kill himself when he was taken into custody. they say it started when trotta assaulted and kidnapped the little girl from the school side apartments. >> it was a nightmare i never felt pain like that in my life, i am thankful she is home and a lot of good people worked on the case and i appreciate everything everybody has done. >> during the initial investigation there were statements that caused us concern for he and the child's welfare. >> carrying a photo of his daughter, he waived extradition

company. >> i was owed 100 or more in three weeks. >> their job was to recruit other students and they paid these women $60 up front for a t-shirt and earning cash up front and money once they graduated high school. >> you recruited people and got $18 a person and they put half in your savings account by the time you cash out you have a lot of money to pay for college. >> but to this day the paychecks never came. >> i any it's despecificable. the three students were interviewed as part of major crimes investigation and the two main operators johnson and mccoy. >> they set up this company to defraud people that was their main goal and focus philly captain roland lee said they found that they were never a legitimate company but a scheme

viewing area. temperature-wise right now, not looking all that bad 38 in philadelphia and 35 in the lehigh valley and 38 in dover and the immediate shore temperatures from 36 to 37 clouds are on the increase from the south to north and by 11:00 only the lehigh valley, seeing thicken and clouds to the south and that is when the light snow breaks out and just on the kent and newcastle county border still dry in philadelphia, for the first part of the rush hour, around 9:00 the light snow may make it to the i-95 corridor late during the morning commute, definitely snowing in the far southern areas near the shore and by noon and thereafter, all the snow showers pull away. it's a quick hit of all of this light snow and this is how much we are expecting if are you north and west of the philadelphia there is sugar coating as snow showers pass through during the midmorning

timing this go around. as we look at double scan live radar, all quiet with the sunshine it fells like warm sunshine with temperatures getting to 38 so far in philadelphia. 35 in allentown and 37 in wilmington and 36 in wildwood and these numbers are still roughly 8 degrees below normal for this time of year. we have the sunshine but clouds are building especially washington down to the south and that southern system has a decent amount of moisture with it being pulled out of the gulf of mexico. and panama city on the verge of atlanta seeing heavy rain and that is expanding to the east as the cold air takes over in mississippi and alabama and georgia and the carolinas and the virginias will be up next for a heavy hit of snow tonight in the deep south. as this low cranks up it will be moving it's not going to stall or progress slowly from the south to the north and east
