this is where a woman was maceed, assaulted and robbed today. and police think she is only latest victim of a pack of serial bandits. thursday night aunt big story on "action news" tonight is policeman hunt now in high gear trying to track down four or more individuals who have been preying on victims in the same neighborhood. "action news" reporter sharee williams is live at 18 and north street. sharee what kind of information do police have that this point. jim, sources tell me that they have now identified who the suspects are that they actually have names at this point. and as you mentioned, about the assault that happened today, jim, it happened here this up block on 1800 session and just down the street one block away here in the 1900 block where police executed a search warrant tonight and they went inside of a home telling me they were looking for evidence connected to the crimes. >> it was the first time i saw

or heard it yeah. it's not good obviously. >> reporter: philadelphia police surrounding a home tonight near 19 and north street as they try and track down suspects behind a string of recent strong-armed robberies in the area. >> i'm concerned because i'm out all the time. i generally feel safe in this area. >> reporter: detectives say in the last three weeks spring garden was target of six different robberies an a gun they say was flashed into two incidents and investigators believe a group of teenagers could be behind it all. the latest attack happened today in broad daylight here in 1800 block of north street. police say a woman was maceed. but in a headlock and then robbed. >> my hope is they'll catch these kids soon and that the woman victimized will recover quickly and fully. >> reporter: just last any teens in question were captured on surveillance north and fairmont
