learned that the structure serves as a sheet metal planter. the fire has now grown to three alarms. dozens of firefighters are on the scene pouring water on the inferno. we don't know about the possibility of injuries but as you can see live this fire is tearing through this structure and we will have more as the situation warrants. in other news tonight, it is a week of woeful weather coming un. of course it started yesterday and left many folks in our area like here in bala cynwyd with the unwelcome task of chopping icy sidewalks this morning and scraping ice off of car windshields. pedestrians had to be extra careful walking on icy streets in roxborough and unfortunately this is just the beginning. lehigh valley correspondent walter perez is live in allentown tonight but first let's get the latest from meteorologist cecily tynan at the big board. cecily. >> and jim, the first four days of march definitely

turning out to be a challenge. the national weather service posted winter weather advisories for the bulk of our viewing area except for along the coast beginning at 3 o'clock tuesday afternoon. we're just recovering from the ice storm last night and we've got another one already developing. storm tracker 6 live double scan showing the low pressure right now is west of denver. it's just beginning to tap into some moisture and this is the first in a series of two lows. this one will go up across the great lakes and this will eventually pull in warmer air but when the moisture first moves in tomorrow afternoon it's going to be cold enough for snow changing over to sleet. future tracker showing unfortunately timing with this system by 5 o'clock that moisture is here in the form of that snow and sleet so the tuesday evening commute is going to be quite messy and even tonight we will look at the possibility of some refreeze. you want to be careful overnight tonight from what's left from last night but this is what to expect tomorrow afternoon with the first impulse in the storm system. that will be moving in between about 3 o'clock and moving out

and changing over to rain by 11 o'clock. we're looking at light snow. snow is not the big deal around philadelphia. a coating up to about 2-inches across the northern and lehigh valleys. the problem is after the snow we get that changeover to ice up to about a 10. of an inch of ice. that will cause a slow evening commute. then it's not over. then on wednesday a transition to rain before colder air moves in thursday morning the potential for heavy snow. this could be significant. i'll talk more about that coming up in the full accuweather forecast. jim. >> thank you cecily. let's switch live to allentown and lehigh valley correspondent walter perez. walter what's penndot doing to get ready for this trifecta rain, snow and ice. >> reporter: that's right, jim, the big three moving our way for sure and it's coming after such a sunny day across the region but with a little bit of fortune this will be winter's last gasp. spring officially begins in less than three weeks. but old man winter is apparently going down

swinging. the next few days are expected to bring a little of everything that winter has to offer including ice. and so when we asked penndot spokesperson in allentown what they're doing to prepare for the impending icy conditions his response was not much and for good reason. >> because we've had so many storms there's enough residue salt residue on the road that would be similar to what pretreating would accomplish. >> reporter: once the frost bitten precipitation begins to fall penndot has more than 200 salt and plow trucks at the ready and despite this being a brutally cold winter it snowed quite a bit less than it did last year so there's no concern about running out of salt. >> going into the weekend, we had enough material on hand to handle about six to 10 more storms. >> reporter: let's hope and pray that leftover salt soon goes back into storage. with that said, we asked folks here in the lehigh valley which one was worse last winter or this winter. most people we spoke with said take your pick.

well they can got him today and they're throwing the book at him. aings news reporter david henry is live at radnor police. david. >> reporter: jim the most disturbing aspect of this case is that dozens if not hundreds of young women were videotaped in the dressing rooms of clothing stores at the king of prussia mall and many of those videos were posted on porn sites and the victims don't even know it. >> and he always favored the specific clothing stores that have the unisex gender neutral dressing rooms. >> reporter: 37-year-old sean moses is now charged in 86 cases of allegedly taking videos of girls and young women in various stages of undress. most were recorded at the express and forever 21 stores at the king of prussia mall. in one video his reflection can be seen in a mirror as he allegedly uses his cell phone to record a girl undressing on the other side of a partition. police say he posted the videos on porn web sites. >> based on this guy's user

name we were able to find 86 videos which is probably the tip of the iceberg but it's what we could find. >> reporter: investigators say they've also found countless images on two computers and cell phones owned by moses. he was arrested this morning at the lower merion home he shares with his girlfriend and six-year-old daughter. police say in addition to the dressing room videos, he secretly recorded sexual encounter with multiple unsuspecting women. those videos were also posted online. the police have tried to delete them all but they've been reposted by fans. >> even though these videos were removed his fans are reposting these same videos as a tribute to mr. moses because he actual had a fan club. >> reporter: moses has been arrested before on prowling charges. he was also kicked off the villanova university campus for allegedly videotaping girls at the swimming pool. radnor police have been on the case since september when he allegedly recorded two villanova students in their

off campus apartment. >> they were getting undressed and they reported seeing a light shining through their bedroom window. when they went to investigate they saw a man later identified as mr. moses secretly videotaping them with his cell phone. >> reporter: radnor police are hoping that more women who recognize moses will come forward. he is being held on $500,000 cash bail facing multiple charges including one count of child pornography. live at radnor police, david henry, channel6 "action news. jim. >> thank you david. investigators in ocean county are trying to figure out what caused a second explosion in less than a week. a 47-year-old suffered burns in this latest blast. viewer video shows the aftermath of the explosion early this morning on cook's lane in point pleasant beach. >> i mean, it was like a bomb going off. we woke up, the whole backyard was bright as could be. we looked out the window. by the time i got downstairs the guy that was living in the

house got blown out the front door. >> the guy that lives there he was on the ground screaming. >> the victim suffered burns to more than half his body. he tells officials he woke up to the smell of gas at 1:40 this morning. he says he went to turn on his lights and that sparked the explosion. the cause of the leak is unknown. last tuesday, of course, an explosion injured 15 people in stafford township. investigators say a crack in a gas line was to blame for that incident. bill green has been ousted from his job as chairman of the school reform commission in philadelphia. and the ouster was the new governor of pennsylvania, tom wolf. "action news" reporter vernon odom that is a story. >> that i didn't agree with the decision and i would let the courts resolve it. >> reporter: ousted school reform commission chairman green says he's going the wage a court fight to regain that post. he was stripped of the chairmanship last night by governor tom wolf who green defied during a raucous src meeting by voting to okay new

charter schools. green will remain a member of the five member panel that govern veterans philadelphia's public schools but he says his demotion was illegal triggered insiders say by green's vote to approve five new charter schools. the governor says they drain millions more from the already cash strapped school district. green blames the teachers union. >> feels a little bit like a sock to the financial backers who have a national agenda opposed to education reform. >> reporter: src commissioner marjorie neff a retired philadelphia school principal was appointed new chairly she voted down the line against dozens of groups seeking new charter licenses. in his write written statement the governor said the following "she meaning neff, shares my vision for investing in public education so our children have the resources they need to succeed in a modern economy". >> none of us are puppets none of us are shy to say what we believe. i think we all respect each wonder we all have the common

>> three fossils stolen from brazil are headed back home thanks to the fbi. brazilian police traveled to wilmington delaware to retrieve the preserved fishery mains from agents today.

the 100 million year old fossils were discovered while agents investigated the illegal sale of a dinosaur fossil online. the trio is worth an estimated $20,000 on the black-market. health officials in delaware are considering changes in vaccination requirements for students entering high school. children could soon be required to receive whooping cough and meningitis vaccines before the ninth grade. right now delaware is one of four states that does not require booster shots for tote us in diptheria and whooping cough and men united states vaccine is only required for students entering college. new jersey lieutenant girlfriend kim guadagno kicked off a mission to help local heroes when they return home. the dress our vets clothing drive got under with in trenton. guadagno says it supports the suiting warriors foundation, a mobile concierge service that personally fits veterans with

franchise tag for receiver jeremy maclin. maclin will become an unrestricted free agent. meanwhile the eagles have gunnery vamping their defense. they signed inside linebacker brad jones formerly of the packers to a two year deal. he's a six year veteran. he was a starter in green bay and until his play dropped off. this past season he was demoted to a backup. jones also plays on special teams. the phillies have not made a big deal about it but it's certainly cause for concern. chase utley still nursing a sprained ankle. utley likely won't play in the first games of grapefruit league play. he stepped on a baseball. he did not participate in today's workout. if you haven't paid any attention to villanova basketball this season you need to get on board. cats moved up to number four in the nation. that would put them in line for a number one seed come tourney time. the cats are in a good spot but they cannot get complacent. >> our challenge is human nature right now.

jacklyn: our middle schools have classes that are devoted for test prep. my kids only have a half a year science and a half a year social studies to make room for preparing for the test. gina: we have no after-school programs, we have no freshman sports, we have no extra anything... okaikor: we're cutting those programs to make way for test prep. and we're not taking in to all the other things that makes a child whole. gina: we are setting our kids up to fail.

>> i do not like them. >> sam i am. >> it was a spirited group of second graders who enjoyed reading dr. seuss' cat in the hat with me this morning at ithan elementary school in radnor. i had the pleasure of joining a long list of guest readers across the country for read across america today but no guess reader found a group of more enthusiastic and engaged young people than we met at ithan elementary school this morning. they also asked some great questions about my own reading habits and about "action news." one young man wanted to know how cecily tynan's knee was doing. >> that's nice it's getting a little better. >> it's not true. >> he didn't care. >> i'm just joking. >> let's move on to the weather. actually i'd rather talk about my knee. next three days we have ice, rain and snow on the way. pretty much in that order. so, storm tracker 6 live.

look at this view right now showing that we have a nice quiet afternoon. we got to see the sunshine earlier today. temperatures well above freezing. 38 degrees in philadelphia right now. we reached a high of 40 so a lot of melting going on. allentown 34, trenton 36, millville 34 and wilmington 34 degrees. temperatures tonight though will be dropping well below freezing so do be careful. any slush or standing water on untreated surfaces will be refreezing. satellite6 along with action radar showing that we are clear right now. that's what brought us all this sunshine. high pressure building in. however, there's already another storm system waiting in the wings. this one is moving closer to denver. it's beginning to pull in some moisture. it will be strengthening and moving up towards the great lakes and this is what will first bring us the clouds, then the ice as we head through the day tomorrow. future tracker showing 7:30 tomorrow morning the clouds are in place. temperatures in the teens and 20's so do be careful. no ice falling from the sky. but there will be some icy patches for your morning

commute from the refreeze. future tracker showing the evening commute is a concern tomorrow. by about 3:30 we begin to see that snow moving in from the west. temperatures below freezing and then we get warmer air higher in the atmosphere so what this does, it changes that snow over to sleet and freezing rain in time for the evening commute around 5:30 getting the combination of sleet and freezing rain. then as we head later into the night temperatures warm from a warm front. around midnight we see that changeover all to rain and it will be rain on wednesday but this is what to expect tuesday afternoon into the evening. snow will not be an issue. about a coating of snow across most of our viewing area but then on top of that, about a 10th of an inch of rise. northern lehigh valley, berks county a coating to 2-inches of snow then up to a quarter inch of ice. ah as we head for the day on wednesday it's rain but then the problem is as we head into

thursday a cold front moves through, high pressure provides some cold air and that will bring some significant snow. the front is the key. where this front tracks will determine where that low pressure goes but the latest computer mom models are showing that front over our region. if that holds thursday morning we're looking at almost a equal chance of a moderate 3 to 6-inch snowfall to a heavy six to 9-inch snowfall. if we get more than 4.8-inches this will be the biggest snowstorm of the season. the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast tuesday that snow, sleet freezing rain moving in in the afternoon and evening hours, the high 32 degrees. temperatures rising above freezing into wednesday morning. wednesday periods of rain but mild 45 degrees. wednesday late wednesday night through midday on thursday this is when we have that threat of accumulating snow. the high only 32 degrees and then things clear out on forty five it's just cold on friday with sunshine 30.
