morning accused of exclusively using a personal account to conduct official government business. >> it involves tens of thousands of e-mails from her four-year tenure as secretary of state and allegations she may have been in violation of federal rules. abc's susan saulny has the details for us from washington. good morning to you, susan. >> reporter: good morning, t.j. there is word this morning that hillary clinton didn't even have a government e-mail address during her time as secretary of state relying solely on that personal account. "the new york times" reports aides to clinton took no action to have them preserved as required by federal law. the state department saying overnight that it has long had access to a wide array of clinton's e-mails, two months ago the potential presidential candidate turned over more than 50,000 pages of e-mails at the request of the state department. experts are calling it a serious breach and say personal e-mails are not secure and should not be used by senior officials. and clinton's critics are

for an investigation. investigators are reviewing images from body cameras worn by two of those officers sources tell the "l.a. times" it is consistent with the account given by police. new details in another shooting. the mayor of cleveland apologizing to the family of 12-year-old tamir rice he was shot dead in a park. frank jackson said the words used by city lawyers were insensitive to his family and in legal papers they appear to blame that pier for his own death failing to exercise due care to avoid injury. the boy had been playing with a toy gun at a playground when a rookie officer fired within two seconds after getting out of a squad car. a spectacular sight to show you lighting up the skies over southern chile overnight. a volcano erupted spewing ash and lava high into the air. ooh. that's a good shot. the red hot molten rocks reflecting on the water below, as well. evacuation order has been issued for the surround area. no reports of injuries at this point, though. well still ahead, "forbes"

parts of utah are digging out from another 8 inches of snow on top of a massive storm that hit over the weekend. snowplows in cedar city have been working overtime. many people still had a tough time getting around on those slick roads. now for a look at morning road conditions slippery from parts of the rockies. drivers face blizzard conditions in the upper midwest. wet roads from east texas into arkansas. slick from the tennessee and ohio valleys into new england. if you're flying airport delays possible in minneapolis, d.c. philly, new york and boston. turning now to the hunt for those so-called black hat bandits that struck again yesterday afternoon holding up a bank in falls church virginia. >> that was their eighth holdup since early january. investigators were able to take a mold of a footprint in the snow left behind when the two armed men ran away. now they say a third man is also part of the bandits' crew. he drove their getaway car. investigators in north carolina aren't revealing many details about the disappearance of nearly $5 million in gold.

two men who were hauling the cargo from miami to massachusetts say they broke down on i-95 not far from raleigh when three robbers emerged from the woods and demanded the gold. the security company the men worked for say they were armed. the l.a. fire department was called out to rescue a woman from the los angeles river. she apparently was stranded on an island in the flood control chapel under a bridge. crews attached a harness then lifted her up and taken from the scene by an ambulance. a dog who had fallen through thin ice on a pond was struggling to get out when two kansas city firefighters came to her rescue wearing watertight suits and latched together they swam out to her and managed to lasso the dog and you will athree were pulled to shore. the dog was suffering from hypothermia and wrapped her in a heating blanket and she will be okay. police are trying to figure out what caused a white honda to
