double scan showing the plume of moisture from new england down into texas there is low pressure that is moving into the tennessee valley what that low pressure will do is bring that moisture our way at the same time and we have the arctic air moving in from the north and west and this rain turns to sleet and then snow in the overnight hours and parts of our viewing area will see heavy snow tomorrow morning for details lets head to adam joseph. >> this go around we'll see the upside down type of storm with the heaviest totals south of philadelphia and the lighter todayales to the north and west. all areas in the pink, including reading and philadelphia down to the shore the exception is the lehigh valley for lower snow totals and this area where we have the warning that is where we'll see the significant snow and hazardous travel during

tomorrow's rush hour, that pushes through the carolinas and virginias tomorrow morning and as it does it throws the precipitation our way and at the same time the arctic high collides with that particular low and that syphons the low air down to flip this from the rain, those change over times in the lehigh valley between 10:00 and 1:00 in the morning, and central delaware between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the morning that creates major headaches for the morning rush and heavier snow and lighter snow into tomorrow afternoon, and moderate concerns for travel and friday morning moderate problems for slick spots, when cecily comes back she'll give you perspective totals. >> lets switch live to sara bloomquist in norristown, what is penndot doing to get the

roads ready for rush hour in the morning. >> there is not much they could do today no salting or brine because the rain will wash it all away. they made sure there was enough salt supply this salt mound was replenished this afternoon and worked on repairing the equipment after what was a rough winter for them. they expect this tomorrow to be a plowing operation with the height of the snowfall coming during the morning rush. >> penndot is in preparation mode for what officials are referring to as a challenging storm ahead. >> we'll be deploying over 400 department and trucks for this event and we'll be doing our best to keep all roads passable by plowing and spreading salt. >> crews spent the avenue moving salt around from stockpiles and making sure the trucks and plows are good to hit the roads again. >> it's rough storm after storm, we probably had by event

bankruptcy court in camden. what is the story? >> that case is going on since 2:30 and it continues what a mess this has been over time. there was a $110 million deal with the canadian firm than blew up last year and then a $90 million deal with the florida firm that blew up last month and they are back with an $82 million offer and now a california group is stepping up and it wants to enter the fray. >> the bankrupt revel casino says they want to seal the deal with glen straub's group and glen cunningham says in court there is $82 million of straub's in escrow including $10 million, and now in a new wrinkle, los angeles developer and his partner have come forward, their

politics tonight former senator joe sestak is making another run for the united states senate. sestak announced his candidacy for the 2016 election and came to independence mall to make the announcement. the former navy admiral said he would walk the 400 miles across the state to show he understands the concerns of pennsylvanians, if he gets the nomination it will set up a rematch with pat toomey. a representative for toomey says that changes nothing and that

wilmington reporting visibility less than a mile. as you drive use the low beams temperatures are too warm for snow right now it's not going to stay that way. 42 in millville and wilmington and trenton currently 41 degrees, action radar showing this plume of moisture it's rain here however low pressure is beginning to pull down arctic air from the north and west, you can see how it's changing over to snow in parts of ohio and tennessee valley the change over happens from the north to the south future tracker showing by midnight we'll have a change over to the rain from the snow across the lehigh valley and northern berks county and the poconos, and it moves through the i-95 corridor from 1:00 in the morning and 4:00, could have a period of sleet before it changes to snow and then reaching the jersey shore by day break and then it intensifies in the midmorning

hours south of philadelphia this looks to be the bull's-eye zone of snow, still snowing in parts of south jersey and delaware and then it moves out in the evening hours on thursday. so how much snow are we talking about, haven't made any major changing to the snowfall pap from last night. lehigh and the poconos missing out on the bulk of the snow, 2 to 4 inches the bulk of our viewing area is 4 to 8 inches in philadelphia. probably around 6 inches in the city, the best inches for 8 inches is south of philadelphia, northern delaware and central delaware and interior south jersey, this is where we see the jackpot for the heaviest snow. morning rush hour is stretchrous with the snow falling up to an inch an hour, that will cause problems on the roads and problems with visibility and temperatures are dropping
