this afternoon two men are charged in the murder of robert wilson iii and new information is released about the shoot that claimed his life. sara bloomquist is off and the big story on "action news" is the gun battle that killed a police officer yesterday. both suspects are identified and charged with murder. eva pilgram just got an update and she joins us live from headquarters. >> reporter: rick, we are learning more about the two men accused of murdering a police officer. they are brothers police say they both have criminal history and officers found an ak-47 at one of their homes last night and in one of their confessions they said the guns taken from the robbery scene that they used were bought off the streets. ramon williams and karl

hipps were taken into custody and charged. meanwhile investigators are learning more about what happened inside of the store. >> when you look at the actions of the officer he redefined what a hero is all about one he stepped away from the counter and there were civilians there i counted four behind the counter, he stepped away so the shots were not going directly at them, they were going toward him. >> officer wilson was in the store when the two came in and announced a robbery, he was there to buy a gift for his 9-year-old son. >> he did well in school and was just buying him a video game. what parent has not done that for a child in recognition for good work. as the department tries to sort out of details of the case, they

collided with at least one other vehicle a medevac transported one patient, no word on what caused the collision. the police are looking for a man that killed a woman inside of a home in montgomery county last night on sunny brook avenue in elkins park. the suspect stanley lang drove away in a white vehicle and has a gun and should be considered armed and dangerous. they called the attack a domestic related homicide. we are getting our first close up look at the tanker explosion in pennsauken. one picture shows the gas tanker overturn and explode and the other is from is the dash-cam of first responders arriving to the thick black smoke and flames, the explosion happened on the off ramp from route 90 to 130, at the base of the betsy
