tonight he is being remembered by loved ones as a family man who was full of life. saturday night i'm walter perez. the big story on "action news" is memory of robert wilson the their being honored by his family in the wake of his murder in north philadelphia "action news" reporter kenneth moton spoke with wilson's grandmother and sister this evening. he joins us live outside the the between the second district police station in north philadelphia, kenneth. >> reporter: walter, officer robert wilson's grandmother heard the initial reports and called her grandson but of course, she never got a response. tonight his family, thanks the the community this police district and the police department for their support. we have only seen this tough cop image of slain philadelphia a police officer robert wilson but those who knew the 30 year-old said he was usually all smiles. >> robert would be smiling you know and he just would just keep going. i loved him. i know he loved me. >> reporter: it was thursday when the eight year veteran between the second officer was

we have y'all backs. enough is enough. >> tomorrow a church located near the scene where officer wilson was kellies holding a a service in his honor at 10:00 a.m. at saint martin depours. there they will take a collection that will be donated to officer wilson's young children. new tonight police in philadelphia are looking for two thieves who sent a grocery store worker to the hospital. the action cam on the scene here in the 5600 block of north fifth street in olney just after 7:30 p.m. investigators say two men entered the grocery store robbed the the place, and a all thed two employees. one was taken to einstein hospital. no word tonight how much was taken. police are now working on getting a good description of the suspects. also new tonight officials are investigating whether a suspect who reportedly killed himself in the police standoff tonight is a wanted killer. at 9:00 tonight police surrounded a man in a car in philadelphia's east oak lane section. that man was believed to be five two-year old stanley ling a suspect wanted in a

cheltenham township murder earlier this week. the the man reportedly shot himself after police surrounded the vehicle. he was wanted in the shooting death of a man on wednesday. two people were found unresponsive inside a motel room in the atlantic county this afternoon. the pleasantville police found two people unconscious at the the best western, on black horse pike at about 3:45 p.m. medics were unable to revive the pair on the scene and they were both pronounced dead right there. local authorities tell "action news" that they are working with atlantic county detectives to investigate this case. no further information has been released. moving on to the accu weather forecast and milder days are a ahead for the tri-state region. taking a live look outside right the here sky six in high definition giving us a peak of the center city sky line. after record lows early this morning, meteorologist melissa a magee is tracking a bit of the warm up including some sunshine for our area and boy, do we need it. we're live at the big board with details, melissa. >> we had a really nice start. it started out on the cold

check this out a scary road rage confrontation was caught on camera. it started when two bicyclist crossed a intersection and then a pick up driver veers in front of one. cyclist recovers and confront the pick up driver who responds with the punch. it took a in but local investigators finally tracked down the person they believe is the driver of that pick up. he had has been since arrested and facing charges including aggravated battery. well today marks 50 years since a major turning point in the american civil rights movement. it was march 7th, 1965 when hundreds of protesters tried to march from selma alabama to the state capitol of montgomery rallying for voting rates. but they were confronted and many were beaten to the front.
