the big story on "action news" tonight is that breaking news from lower providence where fire fighters are still on the scene of this destructive blaze. "action news" reporter sharrie williams is there as well talking to authorities and witnesses. sharrie, what is the latest. >> reporter: monday cars, fire fighters are here and just minutes ago the montgomery county hazmat the team arrived on the scene. they were also called in, to lend their services, being that this is a landscaping company. they want to take precautions. there is a large perimeter set up around this neighborhood, out of precaution of what might be inside. let's go take a look from chopper 6hd tonight. we have spoke with james alexander, the fire chief of lower providence. he tells us this all broke out around 8:30 tonight. you can see the the fire raging from the building. that is the valley crest landscaping company burning quickly and fire surrounding the entire building, that was the scene when fire fighters arrived. the bright flames a mix of

white and black smoke all billowing up as you can see from chopper 6hd, the fire getting the best of the building, it is only a shell of the building left at this point. there were several explosions because of the equipment and various chemicals. we're also told that diesel fuel was inside. the fire chief calling this a total loss. the as for those who live in the area, well we spoke with one neighbor who said she heard a lloyd noise and she came outside to see what it was. >> finishing up the dinner dishes and we suddenly heard a contact kaboom thaw could feel. i said i think that is something very close. we looked the the window and flames were in to the sky. it was unbelievable. i have neff seen a fire. for a first fire that was unbelievable. we actually thought it was houses and then we thought it was catching because as we were walking up watching it, just going further and further

compassionate toward the the people, you know, there were some people here that i spoke with personally who didn't have any, you know, means to make accommodations. >> reporter: it was around noon in halifax north carolina when that train carrying more than 200 passengers slammed in the tractor trailer stuck on the tracks. the the moment was caught on camera. the locomotive flipped, other cars derailed, malvern chester county funeral director clinton jackman was a passenger. >> well, my life flashed before me and i just began thanking god man. >> reporter: jackman bruised his ribs and saw a number of injured passengers. dozens were rush to the local hospital. >> all of the folks sitting right behind me who were tossed like pop tarts. very scary. >> reporter: at 30th street lewis scott left here 12:30 p.m. and headed south but her train was stopped in washington d.c. passengers were told they could get off and find other travel on their own dime or ride the train to where they got back on.

well, these are the dramatic moments as philadelphia police officers carried a shooting victim into a squad car and rush him to the hospital. chopper six was over the 1200 block of rush street in north philadelphia this afternoon as its all happen. that is near the george climber elementary school. police say it ended up being a deadly double shooting.- 259 year-old victim taken by police died at the temple hospital at 5:24. a second man shot twice in the head is in critical condition no word on suspects or motive. an officer murdered, a city in mourning. tonight, more than a 100 people gathered at the spot where philadelphia policeman robert wilson was slain to pray for his family, to seek solution toss prevent other senseless killings. candid reflection on matters affecting african americans in philadelphia. in particular, black on black violence that is taking the lives of so many. as many as three to 400, including sizable number of police officers gathered in front of the game stop where officer robert wilson was gun down. they heard of the many things officer did to make north philadelphia a better place. >> every thanksgiving officer wilson was there to help us get dinners out to the community. >> reporter: here police commissioner charles ramsey who revealed he just left a birthday party for officer wilson's older son, who turned ten years old today. >> obviously he is struggling he is struggling real hard. the his younger brother robert the fourth is really too young to know what is going on. he is just a little over a year-old but the the ten year-old knows exactly is what going on. >> reporter: group released 22 blue and white balloons in honor of officer wilson and his brother and sisters in blue at the between the second district where he work. >> would i like to say thank you for your continue support

we're live from north philadelphia, dann cuellar for channel six "action news" monica? >> thanks, dann. jury has another shooting of the philadelphia police officer. they will be back to deliberate in the trial of eric torres. prosecutors say that torres shot officer edward davies, during a struggle inside a corner store in the feltonville section of the city in august of 2013. officer davies survived and testified today about the incident. he is still recovering from his wound. torres is charged with attempted murder but his defense argues that the shooting was an accident during the struggle. the black market body sculpture better none as black madam was found guilty to day, a philadelphia jury convicted page victoria winslow of third degree murder. a british dancer died after winslow inject her buttocks with industrial silicone at an airport hotel four years ago. she faces additional aggravated assault charges. winslow could get 70 years behind bars, at her june

getting a negative school report. his disappearance triggered a massive search including police, the civil air patrol and even the fbi. he was found in wood behind his home. naib's parents say their only solace throughout these difficult days has been from the massive outpouring of community support. egg harbor township police and the atlantic county prosecutor's office say they have figured figured out what caused this january arson at public works lot on mill road h they say it it was a criminal trying to cover his tracks. authorities arrested robert bailey of west creek today. up investigators say he modified vehicles like this white bus so he could siphon fuel out of in ground storage tanks and then steel the gas. police say one of the vehicles had been impounded a at egg a harbor township lot. a week later on january 15th bailey set it on fire. that caused explosion that is damage a other vehicles as well.
