and we begin with breaking news, a 4-year-old child is found safe after being abducted in south philadelphia. he was taken from his home on the 2800 block of hope street his mother told police her ex-boyfriend carlos lebron jr. put on a ski mask and took the child without permission just before 3:00 a.m. they located the child and took lebron into custody. we'll update the story on "action news" beginning at 4:00 and 6abc.com. police are trying to identify the gunman that kill aid man walking his dog last night. investigators think that the victim was a victim of robbery. eva pilgram is live at the scene in the overbrook section of philadelphia and she has the very latest. >> reporter: rick neighbors are out here all morning talking to each other just in utter

transit police shot a man in the d.c. tunnel. at the potomac stop, officers responded to a call for a trespasser on the tracks it's unclear why they shot him. washington, d.c. police are leading the investigation. the man accused of running into the white house with a knife is expected to make a plea deal this afternoon. omar gonzales will be in court today, he will accept a deal. he made it to the east room before being tackled back in september. it led to the resignation of the former secret service head, julia pierceson. 25-year-old alexandria davis

stormtracker 6 live double scan showing it is dry, no issues with precipitation on this friday. we'll show you the picture outside. the action cam was outside earlier today out in fairmount park we have got a bright blue sky overhead they will fully start to climb as we go through the afternoon hours we are coming in at 44 degrees and the dew point is 8 and the atmosphere is dry and that moisture will eventually make its way northward and the wind out of the east at 7 miles per hour. 44 in the city and a windchill of 40 degrees with the winds coming in from the easterly direction, 39 in reading and 42 in dover along the coast in beach haven here is more good news on our friday its not as windy today yesterday we had winds gusting in the city as high as 30 miles per hour.
