at the top of the screen you see shades of blue, up state new york there's freezing drizzle up there. for everybody in time delaware and lehigh valleys it's mainly rain. we'll zoom into the philadelphia area, you can see route 1 reporting moderate rain, route 130, black horse pike the new jersey turnpike. it's wet there's a lot ponding the traveling speeds, smarveght we'll issue this -- as a matter of fact we'll issue this here. use caution driving this morning. some of it will be heavy at times, in addition to the ponding there will be lowers visibility thanks to the patchy fog that started to develop. the day planner looks like, periods of rain, thearls when the heavy -- that's when the heaviest will occur. temperatures start to shoot up

is expected to be a long day the final day officers can pay their final respects to officer wilson iii. take a look down 33rd street. we can see several buses we see officers coming from around the region and across the country all coming to pay their respects. led by police commissioner, charles ramsey and mayor nutter and the men and women of the 22nd district. procession began at 6:00 a.m. heading toward university of pennsylvania please extra. this morning downpours added to the somber mood as we entered day two remembers officer robert wilson iii killed in the you line of duty. it was a little over a week ago when two armed gunmen attempted to robbed game stop bander -- barged in with weapons drawn.

surveillance video shows a barrage of gunfire and the heroic actions of wilson who stepped away from the counter. police caught two suspects. wilson a hometown boy leaves behind two sons, ten and 1. commissioner ramsey spoke about the 8 year veteran. >> it is not just what he did and the actions he took at the time he was murdered, but the way in which he committed himself to serving the public and the legacy he is leaving behind. i've spent a lot of time with the family, he is leaving two young boys. >> reporter: like we said, officer wilson was from philadelphia born and raised. volunteering in some observations. the amount of people expected out here today is in the hundreds if not in the thousands. palestra is able to seat at least 8,000 people him for now

reporting live in university city, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." eva. >> thanks, annie. new this morning an argument ended in murder outside a west philadelphia nightclub. two men got into a fight at tropical heat. once outside a man pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the head and chest. the victim died at presbyterian hospital. ment club's outside security camera captured the video of the attack. police tracked him down and the knife was found in a trash can. police are asking for your help locating this young boy he was last seen last night he failed to return home from the school, if you have seen him you're under to call police. los angeles police arrested ten teenagers in sex assault scandal all of them attend venice high school. four others are under

investigation, but not in custody. the alleged attacks happened on and off campus dating back to 2013. >> some of these were forced sexual acts, others were consensual with individuals who are too young to give consent. >> lapd would not confirm reports that instagram photos shared by students broke occupy e open -- broke open the case. meanwhile los angeles police shot and killed a suspect who made his way on to a porch of a home where he kept police at bay for hours. with a visible wound he surrendered. during the chase he nearly hit a skate boarder and drove on the wrong side of the street before stopping. police are pulling over there video own other images which captured the chaos after someone shot two police officers in ferguson, missouri.

detectives do not know who pulled the trigger but they have leads where the bullets came from. the shooting happened during protests celebrating the ferguson police chief stepping down. he resigned after justice department report found racial bias. the family of a south jersey man killed in a police-involved shooting filed a lawsuit. dash cam video captured the fatal shooting following a traffic stop in bridgeton december 30th. one of the officers ordered jerome reid not to move as he spots a gun in the glove compartment. as he exited the vehicle both officers open fired. the family said he was unarmed and had his hands in plain view. they are calling for state and federal investigation and $1 million in damage also. salvage operations are underway off the coast of florida where a blackhawk helicopter crashed.

you're looking at plain rain. the lehigh valley well above 30. the closer you get to the city. the warmer it gets. 45 in chester. smyrna, 46. dover closing in only 50 and woodbine 46 degrees. later on this is the way the numbers will play out. 40s north and west, it will be chilly across the lehigh valley and the poconos. most areas will climb into the 50s, when you get into south jersey and delaware, some locations especially places like millville, vineland, buena dover and smyrna, delaware, could hit 60 degrees if not a few degrees milder than that. there will be a large temperature contrast afternoon the delaware valley as we run along throughout the afternoon hours. so forecast for today morning rain tapering off to a few showers by afternoon. there will be patchy drizzle during the afternoon, as well. aerials of fog, it will be mild with a high of 56 degrees, a

reading, 36. dover, 48 degrees, and wildwood, 46. visibility is an issue out west, 1.3 miles for reading an lancaster. 1.7 in wilmington. 2 1/2 in allentown and less than a mile in the poconos. again a lot of it has to do with the falling rain. once the shield of steady rain pulls through around the midday hour. visibility will start to increase. the skies will brighten up, you'll not see sunshine, but you'll not see the low-level cloud deck earlier. there's a lot of moisture in pittsburgh, detroit, buffalo seeing a lot of wet weather this morning. around 1:00, that's when the steadiest rain will pull away. there could leftover showers 48 degrees in philadelphia. wilmington, 50. dover, 54. there's 60 showing up by 5:30 in dover. allentown, 44. philadelphia, 55. steady rains this morning cloudy skies with a few leftover
