hidden valley road. nobody was hurt in the crash. the driver was taken into police custody following the accident. seven people were hurt after a three car crash in wilmington. delaware state police one vehicle swerved to avoid debris and hit the barrier. another vehicle sideswiped that car and a limo crashed into them. four children and three adults were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. >> a kensington man is hospitalized after his homes collapsed inside. take a look at the video of the man climbing out of rubble on the 2700 block of he would recalled street. -- he street. >> reporter: this dramatic video

were taken to christiana hospital with minor injuries. >> a man from kensington is in the hospital after the house collapsed around him. check out this footage captured by an "action news" viewer moments after the house clapped. you see 43-year-old eric carroll trying to climb from the debris. his sister said he is partially paralyzed on his right side has been through a lot recently. >> thank goddess a live. >> it's like he has nine lives he's been through everything. >> his relatives say he lost his mother, his best friend and aunt all within the last few months and now he has lost his home and in the hospital with a broken back. surgery is scheduled for today. we learned that the city warned him the house was not structural sound. a vacant house collapse in philadelphia's mantua section

this happened yesterday on the 1600 block of union street. there are no reports of any injuries. officials are looking into whyment buildings collapsed. >> meanwhile an explosion rocked a home in ocean county. parts of the home were torn open leaving the inside exposed to the elements after the blast on sum in her avenue sea ides highlights. a contractor was doing maintenance work at the home at the time. it is believed that a gas main was left open inside the home. a 26-year-old woman who was upstairs at the time was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but was not hurt. family, friends and colleagues offered a final farewell to a beloved police officer who was killed in the lionel of duty. officers robert wilson iii was remembered as a dedicated member of the force. a horse-drawn caisson carried his body through the city streets. his brothers and sisters in blue served as escorts led by

a plane landed safely at chicago o'hare international airport without its front landing gear northbound was hurt when the united airlines flight made the emergency landing. 900 miles away in denver, colorado passengers braced for a dangerous emergency landing. the scare was caused by a blown tire on the landing gear of another united airlines flight. the plane circled the airport for more than a half-hour in order to burn off fuel before landing. three people suffered minor injuries and big applause when they landed. ohio is dealing with some of its worse flooding in years. the ohio river is under a flood warning. it is expected to crest at 68 feet in cincinnati that's 6 feet over flood stage. the area was hit with flooding last week. the last time the river roles this high was back in march of
