good afternoon, it is sunday march 15. here's some of the stories we're following on "action news." a man is fighting for his life after gunfire rings out in camden. a pick up truck slams into a delaware county home while a couple is asleep inside. we're minutes away from the

nation's second oldest st. patrick's day parade. those stories but first, chris sowers has the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. most people thing st. patrick's day, spring. >> reporter: it's cold out there, temperatures are struggling, the sun is having a difficult time doing its job. we're stuck between 44 and are 45. wildwood, 49. the poconos just getting to the freezing mark of 32. reading, 40. allentown, 40. trenton, 43. you factor in the winds it feels like this. looks like the end of the february. reading feels like 30. feels like 31 in allentown. 28 in the poconos philadelphia 37. millville, 39. wilmington and trenton both feeling like 36 degrees. if you're going to be out and about, obviously you're going to need something with sleeves.

you'll need a heavier coat, maybe the gloves and something to keep your ears warm. we're shooting for a high of 52. i'm not sure we'll get there. accuweather feels 52 is it a good call. with the wind it will feel like the 40s all day. when i come back in just a few minutes we'll talk about another cold shot that's on the way. as we get closer to spring it's feeling more like winter. >> philadelphia is celebrating all things irish. 89 st. patrick's day steps off in just a few minutes. >> reporter: eva, that's right we are just two days 'away from st. patrick's day if you're center city. you feel like today is the holiday. that is the start of the st. patrick's day parade. the oldest st. patrick's day in the nation. started in the 1700s. a lot of festive people here.

closer 16th street and schuylkill, you can see the closure times on the screen. police are on hand to direct traffic, but expect delays. [bagpipes playing]. the solely abrasion started -- the st. patty's celebration started early today. new at noon, two people are in custody after a man was shot in the head in chester. the action cam at second and curlin streets this morning. the shooting happened in an alley behind jim's bar. police say they found shell casings and the gun used in the shooting in the suv. the victim was taken to the hospital, there is no word on his condition. gun violence on the streets of camden has left a man fighting for his life with several gun shot wounds. the action cam was on the scene

of westfield avenue and north 37th street. the man was lying in the street shot four times. he was rushed to the hospital in critics condition. police are looking for a suspect and a motive. a delaware county couple had a rude awakening when a pick up truck slammed into their home. it happened on hidden valley road. the truck plowed into the living room causing substantial damage. the nobody was hurt in the crash. the driver was taken into custody. a man who was injured in a house collapse in kensington undergoes surgery. this dramatic video shows 43-year-old eric carroll climbing out you have the crash he was partially paralyzed before the collapse and had

trouble getting out. the city warned him his home was in immanent danger of collapse and he needed to get out. >> his house has been falling down since i was little. everybody was trying to tell him the house would fall down, he ignored it. >> a second house collapsed on the 6 hub block of union street in mantua. that home was vacant and nobody was hunter. an explosion rocked -- nobody was hurt. an explosion rocked a home in ocean county officials say the home exploded at 10:30 on the first more floor. a contractor was doing may it please thence work at the time. a gas main was left open inside the home. 26-year-old woman who was upstairs at the time was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but not hurt. a race car driver is lucky to be alive today after his dragster suddenly split in half

could get sunshine out there unfortunately how close this storm is here, it's pulling that cloud cover to the south. it's getting as far south to the delmarva. lehigh valley is completely cloudy you mean there. same thing with the poconos. delaware bay region the skies are trying to brighten up, fortescue to cape may. there's a lot of thick cloud cover out there. assuming we get sunshine later only. our highs will top out at 50 degrees. if we stay locked in with all the clouds it might not climb any higher than 45, 46. it's exilier than what we've -- chillier than what we've experienced in the last couple of days. future tracker 6 that will change though, as we get into sunday afternoon again mostly cloudy skies temperatures topping out in the mid 40s low 50s, monday, we're out ahead of a cold front winds shift out of

the gorgeous side. >> reporter: japanese rulers used the artwork to line the hall also of their castles and homes. >> the rulers wanted symbols of power, so we see larger than life lions and tigers raptures, eagles or hawks. castle interiors were dark, so the gold helped brighten up the room. >> reporter: this is the first time the masterpieces have traveled outside of japan. it's the first time they have been shown anywhere since 1979. the work are so delicate that the philadelphia museum of art will rotate what's on display three times during the run of the exhibition so there's something new to see every four weeks. exhibition runs through may 10th go to arts in philly.org
