>> it's certainly just want to make the public aware that this individual's no longer teaching in the school. >> reporter: the school, gloucester county institute of technology, a highly regarded vocational high school, the individual adam mayr an english teacher charged with invading the privacy of nine of his students. it's alleged he was apparently using a camera in what is commonly referred to as upskirting. >> the defendant was secretly recording these individuals with a small video recording device that was being used unbeknownst to the student at the time. >> reporter: the 37-year-old mayr rents a condo at this sprawling complex. there was no answer at his door this morning. his facebook page where this photo is from says he graduated from rowan university in 2001 and has been teaching at cgit since 2002. prosecutor she wasn't dalton says the alleged crimes took place in the classroom. authorities were alerted when a students felt uneasy.

philadelphia this afternoon was apparently in retaliation for a shooting on that same block last night. our camera captured one of the victims arriving at temple university hospital. police say two shooters opened fire in the 2600 block of ingersoll street about 1:00 p.m. all of the victims are listed in stable condition. so far no arrests. one of two firefighters hurt in north philadelphia this morning remains hospitalized tonight. they were injured after a ladder came in contact with a power line here at a fire scene in the 2400 block of west norris street. one firefighter was treated at the hospital and released. the other has third degree burns to his foot. >> the 20-year-old man accused of shooting two police officers last week in ferguson missouri, now faces life in prison if convicted. jeffrey wilson made his first appearance in court today today. police say wilson shot two officers from inside of a car during a protest on thursday. he says he was targeting someone else who was fighting with not the officers and he

shot the officers in the accident. his bond has been set at $300 million. robbed durst headed to california to face a murder charge. durst was arrested this weekends in new orleans 15 years after his friends susan berman was found dead in her los angeles home. the arrest came as an apparent admission from durst aired during an hbo special pro-profiling three murders he's been suspected of. he's been recorded in the bathroom off camera saying he "killed them all." the audio wasn't discovered until two years after the interview when it was handed over to police. the los angeles police said the arrest had nothing to do with that evidence. fire destroyed a montgomery county school this weekend and students are being row locator. the fire broke out early saturday morning at the wyncote academy here in cheltenham. the school which has less than 100 students caters to young people with learning disabilities and emotional issues. classes are moved to gratz

casey cited several recent accidents as calls for his -- cause for his concern including last january's partial derailment over the schuylkill river. six of those cars were carrying crude oil. today casey pushed for new legislation called the response affect it would provide specialized training for emergency crews in the event of an oil train derailment as well as create a national database to document all incidents. >> pothole problems continue to plague drivers around the region. but one particularly bad stretch of heavily traveled highway we told you about last week is finally getting some attention. "action news" reporter vernon odom is live along city avenue in overbrook tonight where penndot crews got busy today. vernon. >> reporter: very busy rick. at this hour the flow of traffic here along city avenue is moving along very smoothly and flowing very well tonight despite a day full of wholesale congestion because penndot is finally repairing one of the worst stretches of bad road here in the delaware

valley: the southern stretch of city avenue is more of a traffic nightmare than normal these days because penndot has launched an all out assault on potholes and general deterioration along a half mile stretch that contains hundreds of potholes and general bad road. >> the road is so bad up the road there that if there's no traffic coming on the other side i drive into ongoing traffic. >> reporter: to avoid. >> yes, to avoid the potholes. >> it was very bad. >> reporter: it is the stretch from haverford avenue south to the delaware county line. the regular motorists view the contractors like a liberating army. >> this road has been horrible for quite some time, you know. i'm glad they're working on it though. i'm glad they're finally getting it together. >> reporter: penndot decided to speed up the makeover of city avenue by several months because of increasing complaints about tire blowouts and bent rims. >> this is going to be on a contract that came out this summer but it deteriorated too

sicklerville resident jo crosby. accused of helping her son kyle, conceal his wife's body after he allegedly killed her. kyle crosby is charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old erica crippen missing since new year's eve from the couple's mount laurel home. her body has not been found. from our delaware news room a wal-mart employee is accused of stealing thousands of rounds of ammunition and survival gear from the milford store where he worked. linwood holman jr. is charged with felony theft. he's been stealing that gear since january. it was found at a home in lincoln along with several guns and knives. >> we have an update to a story we told you about on friday. northeast philadelphia detectives say an anonymous tip from the public led to the arrest of a suspected serial robber. officers captured this man raul aguirre on saturday one day after we aired the surveillance video. they say the 35-year-old suspect is responsible for robbing at least eight businesses and restaurants

throughout northeast philadelphia from february 23rd to march tenth. icy road condition cans caused a chain reaction crash that sent a big rig into a home here in earl township berks county this morning. investigators say a pickup slid and hit the tractor-trailer and the impact caused the tractor-trailer to jackknife and then slam into a house. the family inside the home escaped without injuries. both drivers went to the hospital for treatment. the pickup driver will be cited. >> jeffrey williams the man charged in the shooting of two police officers in ferguson last week appeared in court today. the shooting happened following the resignation of ferguson's police chief. abc's karen traverse has the story. >> reporter: jeffrey williams says he wasn't caming at the police officers. but the saint louis county prosecutor says that doesn't matter. >> regardless of who may be an intended target, if you hit somebody that's still a class a felony still punishable by

forty five prison. >> reporter: he's been charged with two counts of first degree assault after shooting two officers outside the ferguson police headquarters last thursday. law enforcement recovered a .40 caliber handgun that belongs to williams. and it is a match to the casings found at the shooting scene. >> may have had a dispute with some other individuals or felt some dispute. we're not sure we completely buy that part of it. >> reporter: one officer was shot in the face. the bullet lodged near his ear. the other officer was shot in the shoulder. the bullet exited his back. both are recovering at home lucky to be alive. police offered a reward for information that led to an arrest and say ultimately it was those tips that led them to williams. attorney general eric holder whose department released a scathing report on the ferguson police department did not hold back his criticisms of the accused shooter. >> this was a damn punk, a punk who was trying to sew discord in an area that is trying to get its act together. >> reporter: the saint louis

county prosecutor says jeffrey williams was on probation but there was a warrant out for him because he hadn't met with his probation officer in seven months. reporting from washington, karen travers channel6 "action news." >> robert durst a real estate millionaire will be extradited from louisiana to california to face murder charges. for 15 years durst has maintained he did not kill his friend susan berman but that innocence is a sharp contrast to a chilling apparent confession that may have been caught on tape. the possible confession aired for the first time just last night on the finale of hbo's documentary series the jinx. the six part series profiles susan berman's death as well as his unsolved disappearance of durst's first wife kathy and the murder of durst's neighbor back in 2001. the bombshell audio was recorded off camera while durst was in the bathroom apparently unaware his

>> back to that rush hour nightmare under way in camden we told you about a few moments ago. chopper 6 over aches 76 near the walt whitman bridge. take a look at that backup. state police say this accident took place in the southbound lanes of 676 involving a pickup truck and two tractor-trailers. we do know now two people were injured. they both sustained nonlife-threatening injuries but they were taken to cooper university hospital to be evaluated just the same. i676 southbound was completely closed as we look at the wreckage from this accident. i676 was completely closed. last check the far left lanes were getting by but this is the wreckage that of accident involving a pickup truck two

ocean temperatures on the beaches only in the low to upper 40's. quite a bit cooler closer to the ocean. satellite6 along with action radar showing all the clouds spilling over from the northwest. this is associated with a warm front that's moving through and behind it we will have a surge of some mild air. doesn't last long, though. the high 62 degrees. we reach that around lunchtime but then that cold front will move through. ahead of it we'll see clouds, perhaps a spotty shower. behind it the sunshine is here for the afternoon but the winds as well. winds gusting in the afternoon up to 40 miles per hour. and temperatures will drop down through the 50's. so, it's going to be a lot colder in the afternoon than earlier in the day. wednesday as high pressure builds in, this brings us loads of sunshine but chilly conditions, the high only 41 degrees. and then you factor in those winds gusting more than 40 miles per hour. wind chills in the afternoon will be in the 30's. so we're going from temperatures in the low 60's early tomorrow, to feeling like the 30's by wednesday
