ex-boyfriend shot him. the boy is in the hospital with a bullet wound to the leg. police tell "action news" a 22-year-old victim got into an argument with someone at a house party when a gun was pulled out and fired. the man was shot three times he was rushed to penn presbyterian hospital in stable condition. a fire broke out in the somers point village on mays landing road before 3:00 a.m. firefighters from 6 companies battled the blaze for nearly an hour before getting it under control. two residents were taken to shore memorial hospital for injuries, including a woman who jumped from a second floor balcony to escape the flames. it was a devastating loss for villanova players and their fans. they are no longer in the big dance known as the ncaa tournament. >> the wildcats were expected to go well into the tourney

here. take a look behind me you can see the people getting toward the start line. these are the walkers the walker portion of the overnight. cool thing a lot of people are here in honor of loved ones they lost to the disease or loved ones who currently are going through treatment. they have t-shirts on, they have teams that they have formed it's a cool event. take a look at the video this is the start of the running portion of the event. we actually just saw the winner pass the finish line a couple of moments ago. this is the 7th annual get your rear in gear event taking place in march because that's colon cancer month. the organizer lost her dad to colon cancer a year ago and her grandfather, as well. she does this to raise awareness and money for research and funding for research and help people with treatment with colon cancer.

the year. you factor in the winds it will feel like the 30s. when do we get permanent warmth around here? we've been cold, the numbers have been going back and forth. looks like after easter. let's say somewhere between april 5th and the 8th we've been seeing the huge canadian high pressure systems drop on by from the north and set up cold air across the mid atlantic and the northeast. sometime after easter, a couple of days after easter that pattern breaks and you will get the atlantic highs build toward the northwesterly. it will warm everything up and push the cold air back here. we have a week or two worth of back and forth with the temperatures. between april 5th and the 8 it will come to an end and we'll enjoy spring permanently. two abc stars were honored at the glad awards in beverly

as eagles great chuck bednaric passed away at the age of 89. >> reporter: the man known as concrete charlie will be remembered for making the game-saving tackle at franklin field in 18960 which clinched their last nfl championship. former eagles quarterback ron jaworski remembered him this way. >> it's a sad day for philadelphia. chuck bednaric embodied the spirit of philadelphia. concrete charlie he was the face of the philadelphia eagles for many, many years. he is a hall of famer. we talk about the great football he was he was more than that. that's why he was so well respected. he stayed in the community and gave back to the community and stayed very active. >> reporter: union facing dallas in a game postponed on friday because of the snow. they took a bigger hit in the

philadelphia at 1:00 a.m. police tell "action news" the 22-year-old victim got into an argument with someone at a house fire when a gun was pulled out and fired. the man was shot three times. he feels rushed to the hospital in critical, but stable condition. two people were hurt when a fire broke out at a south jersey apartment complex at the somers point village on mays langtd -- landing road. firefighters battled the blaze for two hours before getting it under control. two people were taken to the hospital for injuries including a woman who jumped from a second-floor balcony to escape the flames. it was a devastating loss for villanova players and their fans. they are no longer in the dance that's the ncaa tournament. >> the wildcats were widely expected to go well into the tourney possibly always far as the final four. in a nail biter they fell to nc
