the latest on the plane crash in france search teams arrived at the crash site in a remote section of the alps. debris is scattered across the deep ravine there all 143 people on board are presumed dead. it was 45 minutes into the flight from barcelona to germany when the airbus 830 vanished from the sky, it dropped before crashing in an area near a popular ski resort. investigators found the black box and we have information that the plane did not send any sort of distress call but did lose radio contact with the control center, they expect a long and difficult search and rescue operation because of the area's

time for a look at the accuweather forecast on another chilly day out there. but i think there is a warm-up, lets go outside to adam joseph. >> there say warm-up but it comes with a price until that comes in winter temperatures continue to win out in the delaware and lehigh valleys. in philadelphia so far today we only hit 37 degrees with a lot of cloud cover and finally the sunshine is trying to break out so you can call this march madness, the temperatures are close to 20 degrees below normal and typical of mid-january not late march. we saw a couple of flurries south and west of philadelphia early on today as a weak system pushed to the south than brought a lot of cloud cover but north of philadelphia the sun is returning in the lehigh valley up towards scranton because of that returning sunshine it has moved up to 44 degrees in allentown, reading 39 38 in millville and 37 in wildwood.

we have just learned the name of the man that died in a late night crash in hockessin delaware this happened after 10:00 this last night. he was trying to make a left from old wilmington road on to westchester pike and was broadsided by another car, he died at the hop and a 73-year-old woman in that car is being treated for injuries the driver of the car is austin griffith of wilmington and he to other teens were also hurt but expected to be okay. we are learn being the victims of the largest exam in irs history. 75 of the victims are from new jersey those victims lost more

outfit. i'm glad i have nephews, good afternoon, we are watching the schuylkill expressway very slow speeds slower than normal on the westbound side of city avenue it's taking a half hour to get from the vine to the blue rutd, due to afternoon volume and a crash earlier near gladwyne long gone but the slow speeds are not. we see plenty of slow speeds on 95 and the police activity that dan was telling us restricting frank ford avenue stick with oxford as an alternate. a crash on the ramp from 95 to 413, that involved an overturned vehicle but it's now gone, everybody everything is reopen on the ramp. the disabled vehicle on the northeast extension is gone but the slow speeds are kicking in on the northbound side past the

the clouds are clearing from philadelphia to the north hanging tough at the shore here on sky 6 looking southbound and you can see the thick cloud cover and even there the sun returns before sunset. double scan live radar despite the clouds most of the day, not a lot of precipitation, we saw a few flurries south and west of philadelphia but it did not amount to anything. temperatures now are generally in the upper 30s, for wilmington millville and wildwood. but notice allentown they saw the sun a little more than an

hour ago and that boosted the temperature back up to 44 degrees, at the top of the 5:00 hour, when you watch cecily tynan i would predict trenton and maybe wilmington at 40 or above it. as we quickly return the sun to warm us before the sunsets all the clouds push to the south and a warm front to the west that pushes through tomorrow to bring the clouds back in the afternoon and we see the yellow box pop up, this is the first time in the entire month of march that we see a severe thunderstorm watch issues in the lower 48 and you know what? it's a quiet severe weather season across the entire lower 48, in fact the quietest it has been since records were kept. that is good news this particular march but for us locally the high is in control with sunshine giving way to clouds with the warm front approaching with a scattered shower and as the warm front
