good afternoon sara is off, in the news three people were killed in a deadly late night shooting in philadelphia. and in new york city firefighters are still on the scene of that massive fire after an explosion sent four buildings up into flames. but the big story is the arrest of two suspects after a woman was assaulted and robbed at the betsy ross bridge. the victim was on the way home from the gym when she was suddenly attacked. the suspects both under the able of 18 are both in custody. david henry joins us live. >> reporter: the detectives here have now charged the two teenage suspects with multiple crimes including rape and robbery. >> it happens just after 11:00 last night as the 19-year-old

victim was walking home from the gym, she told her that two teenagers came up and started following her and the suspects thought she was calling the police and knocked the phone out of her hand. >> took her behind the building at richmond street next to the train tracks and robbed her for money and cell phone and other items and then both of these males then sexually assaulted her. >> the victim's friends heard the struggle and she called the victim's family and they went out looking for her and family members found her on richmond street still in the hands of the suspect. the family ran off and one was grabbed by family members one block away and the other was picked up by police a block away. >> both had items belonging to

the victim. >> police say they threatened to kill the victim. >> during the robbery and sexual assault, the victim said they said if you tell your family or call police, we'll kill you and kill your family. >> reporter: so far the police have not recovered the gun the suspects pulled on the victim and they are out there now looking for it. the two teenage suspects are now looking at the possibility of very long jail terms on the robbery and rape charges. >> david thank you. in the city's bridesburg section, a disturbing story is unfolding at this hour. police are investigating a deadly stabbing called to a home on reynolds street this morning they found two women that were stabbed multiple times, one was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was

apartment in dusseldorf, german. no suicide note was discovered but documents were found suggesting an ongoing illness and treatment. including a sick note for recent days which the prosecutor said made it clear he was hiding his illness from his employer. but what that illness was is a mystery. he passed mental illness tests and was cleared to fly. he was relatively inexperienced. just 630 hours of flight time. investigators are piecing together what happened in the flight's final ten minutes when lubitz apparently locked the captain out of cockpit and refused to let him back in. he could be heard in the cockpit breathing normally as the jet dropped 3,000 feet per minute.

an armed robber turned into a high speed chase in georgia and it was all caught on camera. at one point the suspect hit 120 miles per hour, and officials had to block off intersections to keep others safe and troopers finally stopped the suspect after three pit maneuvers. no one was hurt. senator harry reid said he will not run for re-election he made the announcement on a video posted online this morning. in january reid injured his eye and face in an accidents while exercising at home, the senator said that accident gave him down time to think but he is not stepping down because of it. he would rather the democratic party use their resources for other candidates. the woman behind an alleged hoax in california is standing

wall street is hoping to make a recovery today after stocks dropped for a third straight day today. tensions in the middle east and weak economic data sent stocks into a tail spin they fell into negative territory for the first time this year. the dow is down less than a point and the nasdaq is up 12 points and change and the s&p is up about 2 points at this hour. you might notice something missing the next time are you in a walgreens the drug store giant is dropping the be well slogan cashiers would say be well before saying good-bye to
