stewart skewering justin bieber. the awkward moments and biggest laughs. good tuesday morning, everyone. i'm bazi kanani in for reena ninan ho is on assignment. >> i'm t.j. holmes. thanks for being with us. we tart with indiana's religious freedom act. more states, cities and businesses are now promising to boycott. >> indiana is feeling the heat. the front page of "the indianapolis star" this morning pleading "fix this now." abc's susan saulny has the latest. >> all: no hate in our state. >> reporter: the backlash against the new religious freedom law rages on this morning. peaceful protesters gathered in indiana to voice their concerns that the law will legalize discrimination against gay men and women. >> if we don't speak out we're letting them think we're okay with what's going on and we're not okay with it. >> reporter: the indianapolis star newspaper's making its

editorial message about the law in bold type on this morning's front page "fix this now". republican leaders in the indiana general assembly are scrambling to contain the controversy and possibly clarify the law to hoe it does not allow discrimination. indiana governor mike pence writing in "the wall street journal" says the law is simply misunderstood. "rough the law has stirred a controversy and in recent days has been grossly misconstrued as a license to discriminate." an avalanche of criticism. connecticut joined washington state in banning taxpayer-funded travel to indiana. companies such as apple and an yi's list have voiced loud critiques and ncaa headquartered there is reconsidering its investment there. >> we have to say, all right what are we going to do if this law goes into effect in july and what's our relationship with the state of indiana going to be? >> reporter: susan saulny, abc news, washington. well arkansas will likely be the next state to have a

religious freedom law and we could see it by the end of the day. that legislative committee approved a final version yesterday and the house will vote on it today. the governor promised to sign it. like indiana, arkansas' law refuses to serve someone because of religious beliefs and like indiana has no law in arkansas on the books that forbids against discriminating against someone because of their sexual orientation. new details about the security scare at biggest spy agency. one shot to death, another injured when they tried to crash the gate at the nas in maryland. they had been involved in a robbery then took the wrong exit off a parkway. they had apparently been up most of the night partying. each was wearing a wig and women's clothing. well just a few hours left for diplomats facing a midnight deadline to reach a deal on iran's nuclear program. secretary of state kerry said it will be a long day and a new

poll shows 59% of americans support lifting economic sanctions but only 37% are confident a deal would prevent iran from developing nuclear weapons. meanwhile the iranian supported rebels in yemen are taking a pounding. air strikes destroyed a weapons storage facility controlled by the rebels. those air strikes have already neutralized the rebel-held air force. now the saudi collision has imposed a naval blockade to keep them from taking arms shipments. a disturing new revelation about the co-pilot who crashed his airliner into the alps. he had been treated for suicide thoughts. andreas lubitz was treated years ago, before he received his pilot's license. the airline won't say if they had that information. meanwhile, scientists have started the grim task of identifying the remains which could take months. searchers are still looking for a second black box. a defense attorney for dzhokhar tsarnaev resumed their case at the boston marathon many

booing trial yesterday and pointed out several facts they claim prove tsarnaev's brother was the mastermind of the attack and that dzhokhar tsarnaev had little, if any, role in its planning. prosecutors ended their case with details about the death of 8-year-old martin richard. he was one of the victims. several jurors were in tears as a medical examiner explained the wounds that took his life. return now to the new details over hillary clinton's e-mails. documents obtained by the appreciated press show she e-mailed her staff on an ipad as well as a blackberry while secretary of state. even though she previously explained that she used a personal e-mail address on a special home server so she could carry a single device. e-mails released by the state department showed that at least on one occasion clinton accident accidentally mixed personal and work matters. a big announcement coming soon from senator marco rubio. the first term florida republican says he'll hold a rally in miami april 13th to reveal whether he'll run for

president. rubio is up for re-election in 2016 but florida law bars him from making a bid for both offices at the same time. if he runs he could face as many as 20 other gop rivals. president obama and politicians from both sides of the aisle descended on boston to pay tribute to the late senator ted kennedy. it was the dedication of the edward kennedy institute which opens to the public today. it's an interactive museum devoted to civic education. the speaker shared memories of kennedy's friendship and leadership and conflicts. >> i miss him. i miss his company. i miss fighting with him to be honest. it's gotten harder to find people who enjoy a good fight as much as ted did. [ laughter ] >> just not as enjoyable. the institute centers around a life-sized represent mr. ly ka of the chamber and has a copy of his office filled with memorabilia of his 47 years in office.

apple has expanded its trade-in program to include products from its competitors. the company is now offering credit towards the purchase of new devices in exchange for older pcs, androids and phones and other non-apple devices. the change was noted on apple's reuse and recycle page. it'll serve as an incentive for customers of other brands to switch to apple. jay z and some of music's biggest stars parters in a new on-line streaming service. they bought tidal and will be majority owned by the artist, rihanna, beyonce and others involved. tidal will have no free version. subscriptions will be either 10 or 20 bucks a month depending on the quality of service you

choose. the tesla line will unveil a new product line. its ceo tweeted the announcement and date april 30th. company watchers are guessing it will be home battery. a home battery that can store energy and wean consumers from companies. air travel is back to normal of after a computer glitch at jetblue delayed flights. it prevented passengers from checking in at airport kiosks. instead everybody had to go to the counter. jetblue suspended flights for a north time. this caused backups and customer complaints. mcdonald's wants to you have it your way even if it happens to be breakfast for dinner. they plan to test all day breakfast at their san diego restaurants, menu will feature some of its breakfast sandwiches and the hash browns. the company says customers have been asking for this option for

in washington state a large landslide endangering million dollar homes is growing. new video overnight, this landslide near puget sound has forced nearby residents to evacuate. the land started moving on friday and hasn't stopped. the city says it could keep moving for weeks. experts are trying to figure out what caused the landslide in the first place. look at your morning road conditions now. very wet on 90 and 94 in the northwest. slippery roads across the northeast and new england. watch out across texas and across the south for the evening commute. and if you're flying airport delays are possible in new york philadelphia and washington, d.c. well a judge is asking robin williams' will dough and children to settle the dispute out of court. >> zelda is denying claims that

increased use of repetitive words and a decline in vocabulary. the research is aimed at developing early detection methods and treatment for alzheimer's before there is significant damage to the brain. and a sleep study from washington state university certainly sounds alarming. they looked at what's called exploding head syndrome. let me explain. it's a phenomenal which involves people being awakened by an inexplicable loud noise that actually never existed. the study says 20% of us experience exploding head syndrome which occurs when most of the brain's neurons shut down all at once suddenly instead of gradually. researchers say the ability to recognize the syndrome and not be afraid of it may make it better but no word it's actually harmful to you, just scares the heck out of you. >> sounds horrible. >> it does. well now some basketball the ncaa women's final four is set. the tournament's four number one seeds are heading to tampa next weekend. >> highlights from our guys over at espn.
