lane, there say lone police officer blocking this long driveway that leads to the home, take a look at this video, we could see a couple of videos outside of this home where the two people were found dead at this time we do not know how they died, the gender or relationship, we don't know if we are dealing with a murder-suicide or a double murder or something else. we have a couple of names at this point but we are not releasing names until we talk to investigators. once again you can see this police officer blocking the driveway right here, we know that detectives with the county and the police chief of lower motherlan were out here earlier and there was a number of calls to them right now but again we are waiting to hear from them. we are watching the comings and going of any vehicle on this

last night came in with a handgun and took four members hostages. the police came and started negotiations by telephone and he did fire one shot into the basement wall. >> one male was holding four males in the basement with a handgun and threatening to shoot the same. before our arrival before we received the call, he did fire one shot into the wall. >> reporter: the four hostages emerged unharmed and this teenager was entering the firehouse at the same time the gunman did. >> he walked by me and i was waiting outside and i walked? and then everybody started running outside and they told me to get out. hostage jamal denied to comment after returning to the firehouse this afternoon.

>> reporter: that 15-year-old got out right away so he led his iphone to one of the firefighters to call police. >> thank you vernon now lets get live to chad pradelli with more on the man at the center of this standoff. >> reporter: we are learning new information. cheltenham police say that the suspect walked into the lamott fire company basement and fired a shot into the wall and he said quote, the next one i won't miss several members ran out and four to five did not and were held hostage, an hour later the police made contact with the gunman and he released them. >> they say he was a great guy and while he was recently fired nobody saw the alleged standoff

supreme court has just issued a ruling that means the case against attorney general, kathleen kane can move forward. she is accused of violating grand jury secrecy ruling by leaking the name of a political foe, she argued that the grand jury had to legal standing and the grand jury did not agree. and now kane could face charges. now the accuweather forecast, as we await the arrival of rain showers. adam joseph is tracking it all. >> reporter: as we take a look at temperatures in the mid-atlantic low pressure is in western parts of pennsylvania north of that low it's winter like, in the 30s in buffalo and binghamton and new york city, if you take a drive from new york city south a few hours to richmond you go from winter to summer, a 35 degree distance in a short amount of space as we

after a nearly nine hour man manhunt this morning a convict it s back in custody. he was on the lam wearing just a hospital gown and no shoes but he was armed after he stole a guard's gun and fled a virginia

hospital. after a massive manhunt he was arrested. the suspected bank robber was being transferred from jail to the hospital when he managed to overpower one of the prior at security guards and steal a gun. a shot was fired and nobody was injured during the spree he carjacked two other vehicles breaking into the trunk of one car and hiding there when he drove to work. >> in the area of the hospital he started to kick out the backseat from inside of the truck, the vehicle then crashed and then he committed a carjacking. >> police tell abc news that the reason he was taken to the hospital in the first place was because he attempted suicide last friday but this morning he spent nine hours on the run and

they kautd up with him this afternoon. the white house says that the talks to curb iran's nuclear power will likely extend past today. negotiators said they have not been able to bridge all the gaps yet but progress is being made. today was the deadline to create the framework to curbing iran's nuclear ambitions. iraqi forces say they finally reached the center of tikrit after a month of fighting they are trying to take that city from isis. the u.s. launched air strikes and now the fighting is raging street by street after isis fighters holed up there. they think they could retake the city in the next 24 hours. stocks took a beating on this final day of the quarter, the dow losing 200 points, losing all the gains from

philadelphia police are looking for the person that bloke into a car at society hill, they gave us this video from march 18th a man looking in a car on north lombard street and then the man comes back and tries to break the passenger side window, so he goes to the other side and breaks the drivers side window he took $3500 from inside of the car

in the movie theater. a former firefighter was arrested after he took several of his excoworkers hostage, this morning he took four men hostage at gun point it took them four hours to negotiate to get everyone out safely. we have complete coverage of this at 5:00. westbound i-78 headed through berks county just reopened after a deadly crash this morning, the chain reaction crash began at 4:30 a.m. in greenwich township, it started with a disabled vehicle blocking part of left lane and then a tractor trailer flipped on the side and the driver of that semi -- dead. >> you have more. >> reporter: it opened 45 minutes ago and we are 15 miles

west of allentown, two very large trucks, what we learned recently is that small car became disabled to swerve to avoid something in the road. more than nine hours later crews struggled to clear the wreckage on i-78, there was a chain reaction accident involving a car and two tractor trailers, investigators said that when the driver of this small blue car swerved to avoid a mud flap in the left lane and hit the barrier disabling the car and then came a fedex tractor trailer slamming into the rear of the first truck. >> and then went out of control and flipped on its right side and came to rest blocking both westbound lanes. >> police investigators don't know why the fedex truck was
