this afternoon a police officer is behind bars and out of a job. but the fbi is investigating and there are new protests today in south carolina. after a white police officer was charged in the murder of an unarmed black man during a traffic stop. today we are hearing from the victim's family as they try to make sense of a senseless death. >> i'm not suppose to bury my son, my son is suppose to bury me. her son 50-year-old walter scott is dead. north charleston police officer, michael flagler charged with his murder. >> charged is not a conviction, once a conviction is in place i will feel a whole lot better. >> this cell phone video shot by an unidentified by stander shows their fatal encounter and shows a routine traffic stop for a

sizable tornadoes we are dealing with this same feature. thankfully we don't have the severe weather to go with it. our air is so stable right now with the winds out of the northeasterly direction those numbers are more february like out there right now it's only 42 in philadelphia and 40 in trenton and 40 on the boardwalk and reading at 41 degrees and factor in the wind, and it feels like 31 degrees in trenton and 34 in philadelphia and 35 in reading and 33 at the shore and get used to this kind of chill for one more day before we get a big spike up in temperature at the enof the week. tonight 37 allentown and 38 in trenton and 38 in reading and 40s from philadelphia to the south and west with the northeasterly wind continuing 10 to 20 miles per hour. we'll deal with sporadic showers overnight they are generally light but tomorrow morning some energy that is pushing to the

philadelphia police are looking for the suspects that stole from a gas station and vandalize an employee's car on the way out. police say that this man and another suspect walked into the exxon on north broad street and tried to leave, an employee tried to stop them and then pushed them out of the way. and then went out side and found a brick and smash the window of the car. the employee was not injured. a tractor trailer accident shut down a road and knocked down power today in delaware county, the action cam was on gradiville road in glen mills that is where a tractor trailer overturned and went into a ditch at 8:30 this moning no one was hurt but the truck took down wires during the wreck that left

seeing the rain and you can see how it is moving slowly away from trenton, the batch of showers around 130 in new jersey, and another batch in camden and gloucester county, and now near the conshohocken curve and the schuylkill expressway eastbound and westbound, a batch of showers developing there and that continues in the northeast extension towards quakertown and it's very light and again just a little bit of rain during the evening rush can halt quite a bit of traffic. as we look at temperatures it's chilly no matter where you are. 39 in trenton and 42 in wilmington and pretty uniform across the board you factor in the wind, that is 10 to 20 miles per hour from the east-northeast and it feels below freezing in trenton and near freezing in philadelphia 35 in millville and at freezing on the boardwalk in atlantic city and close to that in beach haven and the lehigh valley and the western
