heavy cloud cover. still that chill in the air. there was couple of showers passing by the lehigh valley and even those have basically fallen apart as they've worked to the north and east. but as we look at reading live right now you can see the visibility is rather low. we still have that low lying cloud cover, that chill in the air. atlantic city live right now the sunshine has returned a little bit down the shore but we have that warmer air trying to puncture in southern new jersey and delaware and when that warmer air is meeting that very cold ocean there's been this little ribbon of fog that has been developing as that warm air collides with that chill over the ocean. it condenses the air, forms the low lying clouds known as fog and sometimes it has been rolling inland over the boardwalk and into some of the casinos. as we look at the numbers with that wind off the water, 54 in the boardwalk, 54 in sea isle city with that ocean of just 42 degrees. so, there's that collision of the warm meets cold. 61 in millville and still chilly up in the lehigh valley

of 51 degrees. satellite and radar, all the severe storms in the midwest as they continue to progress to the east. you can see they have completely fizzled out and that's because of the wind that has been persistent off of the atlantic ocean creates a marine layer that's a very stable layer of air with that chill, so basically chokes the storm as they try to progress to the east and that warm front never lifted through to return some sun that would have destabilized the atmosphere for us. tonight an early shower for most of us in far southern areas there could be a quick thundershower. otherwise it's clearing pretty quickly after 9 o'clock around 45 to 48 degrees for that overnight low and then high pressure can comes in behind this front and that high means business. it is massive and it will spread the winds out, squash the clouds here so a lot of sun on your saturday but very windy, 12 to 25 miles an hour with a normal high of 62 degrees. and then as the high settles in right overhead, when it's

on top of you there's really no wind so it is a weekend beauty for sunday with that baby blue sky and a temperature above normal of 68 degrees. as we look at the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast, again not bad over the weekend. it's still a little windy tomorrow but we'll take it with that sun of 62. upper 60's on sunday and then low 70's here on monday with some high clouds developing ahead of the next front and then by tuesday looks like this front will be a little more robust than originally thought, so there could be a soaking rain especially during the morning hours of tuesday of 67 degrees but behind that, wednesday, thursday sun and clouds, 70 degrees for a high and maybe some rain coming in late friday of 67 degrees. so we've gone from way below normal to generally temperatures above normal in that seven-day forecast. >> if it would just stay there. >> everything is goes to burst with color by the end of the weekend. >> time mow the lawn. >> adam, thanks. >> going to do mine? >> no.
