temple university hospital. there are no arrests. a family went out to dinner and came home to this, fire and smoke ripping through the home along route 309 in north white hall township lehigh county. the a neighbor made the call for help. there were no fire hydrants give the flames an edge before the firefighters could get to work the fire is under investigation. police say a mother from philadelphia accused of abandoning her severely disabled son in the woods. nyia parker faces charges. >> this kid is a fighter. it's unbelievable how we found him. to see a kid laying there it's heartbreaking. >> reporter: friday night a man walking on the trail made the discovery at 59th cobbs creek

parkway. police say the 21-year-old victim ask a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy is confined to a wheelchair. the mother laid him on the ground for at least a week with only a blankets and bible. >> the mother went to visit her boyfriend in maryland, montgomery county. we we believe she placed the child into cobbs creek parkway at 59th street. >> reporter: the special needs man attends the high school of the future at 42nd and parkside. the school became concerned when they couldn't reach the mom. once in touch with the mother, she lied. >> she said the child was with her boyfriend in maryland. >> reporter: police say the mother lives here with a 16-year-old child and victim. neighbors who did not know them were appalled.

paula brown she was voted out of office friday. the account used by the colwyn police department to fill up their vehicles has been suspended that's because the burrow manager is in charge of paying those bills but the company that supplies fuel is unsure when or if they will get paid. the mayor said this is outrageous. >> the police vehicles is running on a limp leg and now they don't have no gas how is they going to patrol in case we get an emergency in colwyn. in the interim the police will use their own money to fill up vehicles. voters had a chance to take their concerns directly to the person who may well be the next mayor of philadelphia. more than 100 young people turned out for a forum to ask

yesterday. we had gusts as high as 35 miles per hour that's because high pressure is starting to move overhead that means the winds relax with the high pressure system. 30 degrees in wilmington. 40 in philadelphia, 30 in millville. some areas have dropped below freezing, the frost advisory is in effect for another hour or so and then that will be lifted. we'll ten to 15 degrees colder than yesterday at this time. it's because of the high pressure system that eliminated the winds, but it's a canadian high sitting over top of us, that's why the numbers are so chilly right now. that high will work out to sea during the course of the day, it will allow for sunshine and clouds increasing on monday. temperatures that's the big story over the next 48 hours. there's the high off to our south. lots of sunshine today. very mild highs in the 60s. monday, mixed skies, combination of sun and clouds. we're prefrontal ahead of a cold front that is sitting across the

midwest. that crosses tuesday morning. when you you're ahead of a cold front the winds shift in a southwesterly direction that will pump the temperatures into the low 70s monday looks really, really nice as well. future tracker 6 there's this afternoon, nothing going on, monday morning maybe a few high thin clouds above that's about it. otherwise it's clouds and sunshine. monday night into tuesday morning, here comes the frontal system there could wet shots spots for the morning commute. right now it doesn't look like anything too terribly heavy. the model is suggesting showers 4:30 tuesday afternoon other models suggest this is way too slow this is out of here during the late morning hours with the return of sunshine during the afternoon. we'll see how that plays out. that's the only day we're watching in the seven-day forecast. otherwise the pattern looks quiet. 68 degrees for philadelphia. wilmington, 67. dover and millville topping out at 66 cape may 59. i never thought in a million
