son -- quadriplegic son for days in the woods has been placed in custody. >> nyia parker is in custody right now and annie mccormick has more outside southwest detective's. >> reporter: we've moved to the 5700 block of baltimore where the victim lived with his mother 41-year-old nyia parker who've charged and arrested in maryland for allegedly abandoning her special needs son. she faces a slew of charges aggravated assault. simple assault kidnapping and false imprisonment. neighbors tell us this morning police were back out here, they tells us they are shocked at the charges. friday night a man walking on this trail made the discovery at 59th and cobbs creek parkway. police say the 21-year-old victim found lying there is a quadriplegic with cerebral palsiy confined to the wheelchair and can't speak.

police say the mother laid him on the ground and left him here to a week with only a blanket and bible. his wheelchair was found nearby. they believe he left monday to see her boyfriend in maryland. >> this kid is obviously a fighter. to see him lying there it's heartbreaking. >> reporter: investigators say the special needs man attends the high schoolful future at -- high school of the future at 42nd and parkside. the school couldn't reach parker so they contacted the aunt once in touch with the mother she lied. police say she lived here in the 57 hundreds block of baltimore with another 16-year-old child and victim. the teen is in the custody of family and the victim has relatives visiting the him around the clock until he

center. they have no suspects in mind. the search continues for a gunman after a deadly shooting in cumberland county. it happened at 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of washington and cohancy streets in bridgeton. police say several guys got into a fight when one pulled out a gun and opened fire. two men were hit and one died. the other was flown to cooper university hospital listed in critical, but stable condition. >> hillary clinton is all in, the former fails lady senator and -- first lady, senator and secretary of state is going to run for the white house. this one is expected to be low key expected sometime today on social media. her campaign describes her as a tenacious fighter whole look to boost economic security for middle class and expand opportunities for working families. clinton is the first democrat to throw her hat into the ring. texas senator ted cruz was

high pressure is sitting over top philadelphia. these high, thin clouds will move in later this afternoon. ink the high will stay dominant in the pattern overall. if you pick up any high, thin clouds it will be overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. the wider view shows a couple of areas south wet weather down there. heavy thunderstorms expected to develop around new orleans and panhandle of florida. it's this area right here, dallas, witch at that, omaha there could big thunderstorms that fire up there. strong gusty winds and large hail. we saw a complex of storms weep through early this morning. that's all that remains now as it continues to weaken. we have hundreds of lightning strikes reported a little bit of wind damage with that cluster there. that storm system will bring wet weather into our neck of the woods. monday into tuesday fortunately it loses its punch as the marches east, it will bring wet
