that really catched my eyes. >> he nudged it with his food and later called police and said a severely handicapped man was missing for five days and he showed them where he found the package. it was a bible on top of his chest. >> i didn't know what he looked like i just walked away. he had found 21-year-old dekwan norman. his mother left her son in the woods while she went to visit her boyfriend in maryland. dekwan can't speak or move. he was severely dehydrated and mag nourished. she will be charged with attempted murder when she is returned to philadelphia. fitzroy anderson thanks god for the two deer that led him to dekwan. >> every time i talk about it i get emotional. it's very sad you know.

trying to find the man that shot at a cab driver rather than pay his fare. the subject was caught on surveillance cameras at good times bar on landsdowne avenue the man got into the cab and asked to stop at good times and then he got back in the taxi and went to 55th and lancaster and got out without paying, when the driver asked for money the man pulled out a gun and shot and missed. percy sledge the man that sang one of the most iconic ballad of all times is known around the world for "when a man loves a woman" sledge had surgery for liver cancer last year but went on to tour after he recovered. he died just after midnight in hospice care in indiana. percy sledge was 74. actress rita wilson was

see protesters were jumping over the bridge into traffic, apparently they are protesting police brutality citing the deaths of unarmed black and latinos, and the police are on the scene actively arresting people. this is apparently one of 28 being held across the country, this one is rather dramatic they played their way on to the brooklyn bridge jumping from the media to the next and blocking traffic, police are on the scene making arrests and chopper is zoomed in on this one, there are many dozens as you widen out there are many dozens of protesters on the bridge and police are doing their best to try to remedy this sitdation and do their best on the brooklyn bridge in new york city. as we change gears to the accuweather, and better days lie ahead.

sunshine is back after the showers that continue to fall in southern areas penn's landing, the thick cloud cover over the ben franklin bridge we had showers earlier in philadelphia in the morning and generally a dry day with clouds hanging on all points south still seeing the light steady rain and at time pockets of moderate rain and along the shore communities from southern cape may to atlantic city, a wet drive along the garden state parkway and as you head out of avalon on to 47 it's wet there and you can even see rain near queen anne and stretch towards dover wet to the south and dry to the north. we see temperatures only in the 50s second quarter 56 in millville and sea isle city, and philadelphia 62 and allentown the warmest spot at 65 degrees.

>> reporter: the latest is the 19-year-old mother is released from the hospital and it's believed that she is with her son at saint christopher's hospital with significant injuries to his neck and head. it happened just shy of where i'm standing it took a turn at masher and went southbound at lehigh. the victim and her son were rundown just yards from her family home at the 2700 block of masher. today family members gathered at the red painted house and they declined requests to identify the little boy or her mother and instead asked for privacy, this neighbor told our broadcast partner univision she knew the woman, a visibly distraught woman, says let me tell my grandson. >> they recovered
