still trying to track down the driver who hit and ran. tuesday night, and the big story on "action news" tonight is the search for a driver who may be almost ready to turn herself in. but there is a late-breaking development in this story. "action news" reporter chad pradelli, is live at the police accident investigation decision. chad, what's the update here? >> jim, philadelphia police tells me investigators have been in contact with the lawyer of that suspected driver. she's expected to turn herself in either tomorrow or the following day. but here in the past couple of hours police have recovered the vehicle involved in this hit and run. it was found in a parking garage, and it is now at a police facility and it appears the police are set to solve the case. >> steps from where the boy darted on 57th and litchfield neighbors made a way to a small

believed to be a 2007 infinity. and yet another hit and run in philadelphia led to a police chase this afternoon. starting with a head-on crash at 4:00 at the intersection of ford road and chamonix drive. and they tracked him through the fairmount park and west of montgomery avenue where he was captured. two people were hurt in the accident. there is a $10,000 reward up for grabs tonight for information leading to the arrest of a serial bank robber. "action news" reporter kenneth moton live at the td bank. what are the details? >> jim, it appears the suspected serial bank robber has an affinity for td bank branches. f.b.i. says agents have done the work to identify this guy and investigators need the public's help to bring him in.

images of the man the police and f.b.i. are calling a serial bank robber. knowing his name rashon mitchell accused of walking into at least four banks and demanding cash. >> he hasn't dipssplayed a weapon he has violent notes. and we are worried about escalation. >> and desperation is ramping up. and mitchell hit three td banks in the past week and charged with the february 28th rob roy of the bank at 16th and market in center city. and investigators say he took a two-week break before moving in on the td bank on walnut thursday. we were there as police worked the scene. the f.b.i. says friday mitchell robbed the td bank on city line avenue and another on baltimore pike in springfield. mitchell is 5'9" 215 pounds. last known address on masters

dequan norman a quadriplegic missing for five days. they say norman's mother nyia parler, left him alone in the woods to die while she went to visit her boyfriend in maryland. police say she will be charged with attempted murder. the revel expected to have power back up running tomorrow or thursday. three generator trucks arrived today. the new own are, straub rolled the dice in the contract dispute with the utilities plant and they pulled the plug and it is costing them in fines every day. they are waiting for nicer weather before finishing the hook-up. and a move to quash philadelphia's paid sick leave bill before it takes effect in may. the state senate approved a bill that would block any additional

requirements for businesses beyond the state and federal minimums. and expected to pass the house as well. however, the governor is opposed and philadelphia's law requires businesses with at least 10 employees to offer an hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hour workweek. [chanting] dozens of people rallied tonight in northeast philadelphia to protest funding cuts in the school district's budget. they gather at the fox chase elementary school and marched to the congressman's office to have their position heard. and seven principles from the philadelphia school district honored today, receiving the distinguished principal award. and the all award honors outstanding administrators making significant contributions to their schools and communities. veterans rewarded this country's highest military honor in town

the largest kidney swap. >> i feel blessed. >> having a genetic kidneys disease. at 61 her kidneys deteriorated and needed a transplant. her long-time neighborhood friend, susan carlson, wanted to donate but she wasn't a match. so dr. swanson said she joined the pair donor network. she would donate a kidney to the recipient she does match and they would find her a donor. it grew and it led to 34 kidneys between 26 hospitals nationwide. christiana was in the middle of the chain. calling the coordination of the effort and the life saved a miracle. >> and the donation is the hope for the patients.
