kostic was shot in west philadelphia. officer daniel kostic was patrol around wilt ton and girard. they want to investigate a man inside a van for possible narcotics violation. >> when they try to approach the male, the male backs up, and makes a u-turn and they lose him in the area. >> reporter: officer daniel kostic caught up with him. >> he fired at daniel kostic striking him in the right arm. cost cost returned fire hitting the man found in the alley of 5100 block of master taken to hanheman university hospital. a weapon was recovered at the scene. >> obviously we do not know that was on this guy's mind to have someone say something like that is highly unusual and fire at a police officer like that it makes you wonderful.

because of penn relays. a teenager is under arrest after putting the officer in a chokehold. the officer asked the 17-year-old to leave a burger king. he gets into a scuffle and gets the officer into a chokehold until the policemen loses consciousness. nobody helped the officer. in oklahoma, an officer was dragged at a traffic stop. the officer stopped the driver who had an outstanding warrant. when the officer tried to convince him to get out of the car, the driver refused and sped off and took the driver with him. the officer was not seriously hurt. the family of freddie gray

it's a money maker. i mean, i just feel like our children are paying the price for these high stakes tests and their teachers are stressed out about it. so, teachers aren't benefiting. they're not getting information from these tests that are helpful for teaching. kids aren't benefiting because they don't even know what they got right or wrong. they just know that they feel really bad about it. parents aren't benefitting because i don't get any more information about my child. so the only people that could possibly be benefitting from this are corporations who are making the tests and selling the tests.
