apartment building fire in mount airy along upsal street. stay on washington lane to get around the fire activity. meanwhile, we have a crash westbound side approach willow grove, a tractor-trailer clipped a car. the accident in trevose along street road is out of the way. the crash along 40 that caused a power out annual has cleared so things are looking better there. >> we're starting with the latest from nepal after a massive earthquake the race is on to rescue people trapped under the rubble. the death toll is 3700 and rising. nearly 100 aftershocks have hinder rescue efforts. many are sleeping in tent cities afraid to be inside buildings.

authorities say a local mother went to have punishing her -- too far punishing her children locking them in a basement for hours. katherine scott has the story. >> reporter: police say the woman locked the four children in the basement with no food or access to a bathroom for over 12 hours. she was taken to the special victims unit for questioning. the four children were taken to st. christopher's hospital for valuation. the detectives from the special victims unit were investigating. one of the trapped children was able to call 911 around 1:30. firefighters climbed through a second floor bedroom and opened the door for police who got into the basement. a friend of the victim said she saw the mother and daughter arguing saturday afternoon. neighbors were surprised to hear

with one fly in the ointment toward the end of the week. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, as we take a look outside, we have sky 6 and there's a little bit of cloud cover overhead. i think we'll get sun in beneath the clouds and get holes in the clouds quickly today and thicken up a little bit as the day goes on. 48 degrees is the current temperature. the winds out of the northwest at 7. not all that strong just yet. once the sun comes up over the horizon. we'll get breezy. there's a chance of early sunshine once we get past around, you know, 8:00, 9:00 a.m., by noon the clouds are getting thicker. there's a chance of a spotty shower most of it holds off until the afternoon hours. by 3:00 p.m. the model has us in the northern and western suburbs, it's light and spotty and staying that way straight through the evening commute and later evening we start to dry out by 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. it's a nuisance pop-up shower in

most cases. we're looking at somewhat cool conditions, 49 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 56 by 11:00 a.m. looks like we'll spend the afternoon in the low 60s around 63. that's about five degrees below average. spotty showers around and breezy overall not too bad. overall this week looking good, we'll have some days above average. today, cool, 60 in allentown, 61 in reading and trenton. 63 in philadelphia. looks like we won't break out of the 50s in lang and same thing down the shore and spotty showers here and there in the afternoon. tomorrow, the area of low pressure bringing us cloud cover and light precipitation moves out of here. high pressure is closer, it will be breezy and sunny and a good looking day and bringing the number up tomorrow. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, 63 cool, a spotty shower around today not a washout. tomorrow sunnier high of 69.

when we take these tests we don't actually do anything. we use the tutorials. one of the tutorials showed things like how to change the background color in an online test environment and it takes time away from learning math and science and english and all the things that i really enjoy learning. they can't do as much because they have to administer this test on the computer. and that's really one of the worst parts of the test.
