mother went a a bit too far when it came to punishing her children locking them a in a basement for hours. katherine scott is live outside special victims unit with more on the story. >> reporter: that's right, police say it was meant as a punishment that the mother locked four children in the basement for more than 12 hours with no food and no access to a bathroom. she was taken to the special victims unit for questioning. her kids showed no visible signs of injuries, they were taken to saint christopher's hospital for valuation. you can see the detectives as at the kensington home located on the 1900 block of east atlantic street in kensington. the siblings are between 9 and 13 years old. one of the trapped children was able to call 911 at 1:30. firefighters climbed into the second floor bedroom and opened the door for police who got into

remain closed for a while. closure points eagleville road and falcon road. instead of south park which is blocked off and appears it will be for a while stay by egypt road by audubon elementary. we have a crash in plumstead township, 611 at silo hill road. we're watching a crash on the boulevard northbound side, all lanes are closed. i see a tow truck leaving right now. maybe they are in the process of wrapping this up. at this point no northbound traffic is getting through on the boulevard extension. starting at ridge avenue you're hitting a wall of traffic. nothing is moving. use hunting park avenue on northbound lincoln drive as alternates. i-95 northbound from the delaware state line through this point at highland avenue. look at that, can you see the traffic is just starting to move

in the northbound lanes of i-95 delaware county because the crash that we had right here, northbound involving the vehicle facing the wrong way by the commodor barry bridge is now gone. as you can see all northbound lanes just reopened. you're still seeing the backlog i showed you a minute ago coming away from the delaware state line. things are loosening up on the northbound side of i-95. southbound side in the northeast, typical volume there speeds in the teens and 20s. burlington county, as of thursday the centerton road bridge is closed. 295, 130589 naits around -- alternates around that. >> freddie gray will be laid to rest who died from a spinal cord
