but a lot of this is evaporating. we'll transition to mostly sunny skies today. 52 currently in philadelphia. we've slipped into the upper 40's in wilmington and in allentown and trenton millville at 49. 50 in sea isle city. and as we head out the door this morning we are looking at bus stop rolling up with somewhat cool conditions but not bad. 49 degrees by 6 o'clock, 54 by 8 o'clock, a few clouds and on the cool side. today's high is 69 degrees. we'll hit that rather late in the day around four or 5 o'clock and hold the upper 60's between 3:00 and 6:00. you can see by how 9 o'clock we're still in the 50's so a gradual improvement and we are looking at the potential for forest fires or brush fires easily spreading today because of the low humidity and the breeze that's going to be blowing so be careful of that during the day and pollen count as it turns out is going to be a little on the high side the next couple of days before easing back on thursday and friday. that's because we get cooler, cloudier and perhaps a little damp. details on that coming up in that exclusive accuweather 7-day matt.

>> ladies, gentlemen start your engines. we're getting ready for the tuesday morning ride and so far it looks pretty good. as we look live in king of prussia along the schuylkill expressway close to 202 westbound overnight construction is gone. we expect the crews to return around 10:00 tonight and do construction both ways between 202 and golf mill so that's something to look forward to. for now we're still looking at the roosevelt boulevard. we're southbound the off ramp to ridge avenue here in east falls remains closed because of the ongoing paving work going on in east falls along ridge avenue. most of that is still blocked. stick with kelly drive or maybe even henry avenue at this point as alternates to ridge. also watch out for more construction today right by philadelphia university along schoolhouse lane close to henry avenue. that was kind of a mess yesterday but our overnight work zone on the eastbound vine as well as the one on 95 by cottman those have cleared. still a little work wrapping up on the tacony palmyra bridge and there's a fire at a corner bar along catherine street by cobbs creek parkway. so that, too, is a spot you

want to steer clear of. and just like yesterday you still want to avoid south park avenue in lower providence after that awful wreck and truck fire from about 6 o'clock yesterday morning. all lanes blocked between egypt road and ridge pike. you could stick with egypt maybe trooper or even sunny side avenue as some alternates on this tuesday morning. tam. >> okay, thank you matt. breaking news in baltimore. rioters have torn that city into absolute chaos. buildings have been torched and bricks thrown at officers some of whom have been hurt. the clashes began at the mall yesterday afternoon. another hot spot was several blocks away at north and pennsylvania avenues. the rioting was far removed from popular tourist spots like camden yards and the inner harbor but still last night's orioles game was canceled due to security concerns. erin o'hearn is life at the big board. she's got the latest. good morningism good morning tam. the baseball commissioner has in the made a decision as to whether or not the series will be moved out of baltimore.

meanwhile we want to show you some of the shocking images coming out of the city. rioters torched a pharmacy. you can see that cvs logo and police cars were also set on fire. rioters also were throwing bricks at officers. in fact, 15 officers have been injured during the violence. many baltimore residents say their hearts are aching as peaceful protests over the death of freddie gray who was injured while in police custody have been replaced by rioting looting and violence towards police officers. these riots have destroyed businesses in fact, one community center for the elderly that was still under construction burned to the ground. last night the police commissioner confirmed that the department got a credible threat that gangs were planning on attacking officers >> we had black guerilla families, the moods and the cryps had a meeting yesterday verified that they said at the

conclusion of mr. gray's funeral today each group was intending to kill and take out a police officer. >> this reminds me of 1968 when the riots were taking place during the assassination of dr. martin luther king where people were destroying their own stores and properties in their own community. this is unacceptable. this is not what freddie gray's family wanted. >> reporter: now curfew has been imposed tonight from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. all public schools are closed today. now, there are reports that 1600 people have volunteered at a facebook page to help clean up the streets once peace is restored. but of course we're keeping an eye on this story and we'll bring you more in the next half hour, matt. >> facebook nugget some brighter spots there for what's going on in baltimore. thank you erin. philadelphia police searching for the gunman who left several cars riddled with bullets. shots rang out along west jefferson street near 60th street in west philadelphia shortly before 11:00 last

night. the gunfire hit at least four vehicles shattering windows. no one was injured. we'll have a live report on the investigation coming up in our next half hour. also new a blaze in eastampton burlington county new jersey left a home gutted. flames broke out along the 1100 block of smithville road at 10:30 last night. firefighters lacked access to water supplies in this somewhat rural area which made the fire fight difficult. no one was home at the time of the blaze. an investigation continues into yesterday's deadly crash inn involving a tractor-trailer and a tanker truck in audubon montgomery county. the two vehicles collided head on along the 700 block of south park avenue. the driver of the tanker was killed. the tanker truck was carrying raw sewage. the trailer's cargo, drums of dry cosmetic powder then spilled and ignited. crews were still cleaning its wreckage overnight. matt pelman will let us know when the road reopens. it could happen sometime this morning. >> ♪♪

>> it is now 5:06 and happening today the u.s. supreme court will begin hearing arguments that could determine the future of same-sex marriage. the justices will consider many questions the main one being whether gay couples have a constitutional right to marry. 37 states including pennsylvania new jersey delaware and washington, d.c. now allow same-sex marriage. new jersey gaming regulators dealt former revel yet another losing hand. new owner glen straub cannot reuse the old casino license. he needs to be approved for his own license and that means that straub is not currently authorized to possess the slot machines that are still there inside the building which requires someone else be designated to come take responsibility for that gambling equipment. >> what is going on in accuweather today david. >> we are looking at a slightly milder afternoon ahead. as we take a look at storm tracker six live double scan we're dry and as we head outside might be a few clouds left over over center city but they're going to be breaking up fairly quickly today and overall we're expecting mostly sunny conditions.

52 degrees in philadelphia. some of the suburbs down into the upper 40's including trenton, allentown wilmington and millville. little bit of a breeze out there. and as we take a look at those clouds, they are in the process of evaporating obviously. little bit of a sprinkle managed to come through a couple of spots early this morning but that is now appearing to be offer the map. lehigh valley lots of sun breezy today a high of 68 degrees. it will be on the mild side up north. down the shore a little bit cooler right by the water. 63 degrees is the high, mostly sunny, on the breezy side obviously a little chillier right next to the atlantic. in philadelphia we'll go for a high of 69. some urban and centers like center city could actually hit 70 or so. mostly sunny, a bit on the breezy side with winds northwest 12 to 25 miles later today. all right. so, it will be a bit on the breezy side but looking good and feeling pretty good. 54 degrees by 8 o'clock. by 11 o'clock we're up top 60. and by 2 o'clock this afternoon 67 degrees with a high of 69 probably hitting at about 4 o'clock this afternoon and then continuing through the 5 o'clock hour.

there is a sunburn alert though not only for today but for tomorrow as well as over the next two days we have high u.v. index. sun's actually about as strong as mid august so if you're going to be outside make sure you put on that sunscreen. tomorrow looks like we're going to start out sunny and then probably wind up with a few more clouds in play. that's because of a system down to our south that will be gathering steam getting off the coast and beginning to produce some showers. it does look like most of the rain though, on thursday will be to our south so we'll allow for a little shower rolling in along with clouds and cooler air. on friday another chance of a few showers. generally speaking looks like that system is going to be far enough away from us to avoid any major rain. your excuse sieve accuweather 7-day sunny and breeze with a high of 69 degrees. tomorrow nice and warm with a high of 74 and clouds increasing a bit as the day goes on. a few showers around on thursday, 67 otherwise and then breezy with a possible shower on friday and a high of 61 degrees there. for the weekend it looks like nice conditions return. a high of 70 for saturday.

one the super highway in bucks county in morrisville. few headlights there coming northbound toward the trenton-morrisville bridge headed toward mercer county. they're doing fine. southbound would be the taillights headed towards langhorne. none of them at the moment. nice light volume at this point but we're still cleaning up from that major accident yesterday morning in lower providence. south park avenue is still shut down between egypt road there by audubon ale house and ridge pike. that stretch as you use to get to egypt maybe 422 is still unavailable at this point. stick with the crowd along egypt road, that's a possible alternate by audubon elementary school, maybe use trooper road as an alternate or stay up locally on sunny side avenue and we'll keep you posted thon. still some overnight road work going on along the northeast extension both ways by quakertown there blocking a lane and northbound by lansdale the right lane is also out of commission. in middle township cape may county still have work going on along 47 delsea drive where it meets up with the garden

state parkway. lane out of commission in both directions until 6 o'clock this morning and townsend delaware closing greer's corner road for about two weeks so to get around that blockage you could use dexter corner road or maybe black bird station road. elsewhere in delaware time for the commuter report with the waze app. getting some alerts with the waze app but just vehicles stopped on the shoulder there along 95. tam. >> okay, thank you matt. take a look at this new video showing the devastation caused by two landslides in the brazilian city of salvador. at least 12 people were killed yesterday after heavy rain triggered the ground top give way sweeping away a number of hillside homes. rescue workers and residents searched through that debris looking for survivors as rain continued to come down. rescue workers are scrambling to find survivors of saturday's earthquake in nepal. new video overnight shows chinese emergency crews rescuing a man buried under rubble in katmandu. the man had been trapped between walls of a collapsed building for 62 hours.

>> breaking this morning, the maryland national guard is now on the streets of baltimore. schools are closed as a day of violence spilled into the early morning hours. it started after an emotional funeral service for freddie gray, the black man who suffered a fatal spinal injury while in police custody. rioters have torched buildings and police cars haven't thrown bricks at officers injuring 15 of them. maryland's governor has declared a state of emergency. >> i couldn't go to bed last night, i was stuck on that coverage watching the newsily it's just crazy what's going on and it's so close to home. let's go outside this morning, check 95 here in

delco. tinicum township moving fine along 95. hope you're enjoying having 291 and the ramps connecting it with 95 back in business as of last week. everything opened here and looking good. still some overnight construction in camden along 168. that's mount ephraim avenue there southbound near collings avenue. they're blocking up to two lanes until about 6 o'clock this morning. and if you're riding mass transit in new jersey, njt's river line just like the last few days running every 30 minutes again this morning. that's because of signal issues. david. >> right now, matt, we're on or about 50 degrees across most of the region going up to 56 by 9 o'clock and the rest of the day looks mainly sunny with a high of 69 degrees late this afternoon, probably around 4 o'clock. i could see us holding that straight through 5 o'clock. a little bit breezy but a pretty good looking day and feeling warmer than yesterday. we have some issues down along the gulf coast with the potential for some severe weather down there. not only do we have strong gusty winds all the way from about louisiana and near new orleans down in through the
