silver sedan. the temple student was critically injured. her bent bike showing the force of the fall. the driver of the car took off wednesday night, the big story on "action news" is hit-and-run in north philadelphia. police are now trying to track down the car. "action news" reporter kenneth moton, is live at the scene of the accident and kenneth, you have the details. >> we got our hands on images of the suspected hit-and-run vehicle. we learned the student is from new jersey. and this is temple university's campus on the right and this is where the student was struck in the intersection. we was unconscious and the paramedics rushed her to the hospital. these are the newly-released images of the suspected hit-and-run vehicle. capturing the mitsubishi galant moments before the philadelphia police say the driver slacked into a 22-year-old temple

university student on a mountain bake. they say it happened around 7:00 p.m. the female bicyclist on park avenue when the mitts -- mitsubishi hit her. three men were in the vehicle of the driver stopped but did not stick around. >> getting information that after the vehicle stopped possibly the passenger in the rear seat encouraged the driver to leave the scene. >> the police say that was a criminal move and costly mistake. the entire incident caught on several temple university cameras. and those who saw the car speed away say it had the some extensive damage. >> it possibly has front-end damage. the windshield was either cracked or smashed in. >> and getting video from the university and processing there scene. meanwhile the 22-year-old

plan a protest tomorrow >> and it could be a big turnout as organizizer are coming from various universities. >> and people will be honest about what is going wrong were in country. >> philly is baltimore, that's the name of the protest being organized by the philadelphia collision for real justice. jefferson a senior at temple university is one of the organizers. >> they are being killed by our cops and it's not right. and we have a right to as the people speak up and say there is a flaw in the system that needs to be fixed. >> a grassroots effort from a town hall meeting after the shooting in ferguson missouri. >> and there are problems and we need to pull together as one and get them addressed.

sharrie williams for channel 6 "action news." and pennsylvania sending 300 state police to baltimore as part of an emergency management assistance agreement with maryland. the governor made the announcement today. the troopers deploy later this week. the arrest in baltimore produced a sight never seen before. two major league teams playing a game in front of zero fans. the orioles played the chicago white sox at camden yard today, but no fans were allowed inside the park. some hard-core oriole fans gathered on the outside of are the fence to cheer on their birtdz birds. other news, three people thought in the west oak lane in philadelphia. east johnson and rugby streets, they say at least two people opened fire at 7:00 tonight striking three men ages 18 19 and 20. they are in stable condition at einstein medical center.
