>> pennsylvania state troopers went to baltimore today to help with the state of money that is still active in that city, "action news" was at the belmont baracks this afternoon as they loaded their gear, they hope their assistance will help to bring calm to the baltimore community. in baltimore police have completed their investigation into the death of freddie gray and their report is delivered to the chief prosecutor in that city and pleading for patience and peace while she considers whether to bring charges. monsignor william lynn has been sent back to prison for his role in a priest scandal. earlier today a judge refused to grant a stay that would allow lynn to remain free during his appeal. >> reporter: monsignor william lynn, the first church official

convicted in the church sex abuse scandal is back behind bars since january of 2014 lynn has been free of bail and on house arrest pending his appeals to the supreme court but on monday the supreme court reinstated his guilty verdict and the d.a. wants him immediately locked up and sent back to prison. he was convicted for endangering the welfare of children his bail was revoked and lynn's lawyer blasted the common court judge. >> there is no legal support for what she does, she is wrong and i am going to prove it. >> he says he will file an emergency appeal of the judge's order with the state superior court to allow lynn to remain free on bail pending appeals he was convicted following a landmark trial we'll prove she

there's over two hundred thousand students in philadelphia. jim kenney and tony williams are fighting over public schools versus charters. i think they're both wrong...it's making sure they all get a good education. teachers should have their contracts respected. they also should be held accountable. and it's wrong philadelphia gets less school funding than other parts of pennsylvania. i'll work with harrisburg to change that. but if they refuse i'll take them to federal court. as mayor i'll do what's right for them.
