new jersey turn near fort dix. chopper 6 flew over the wreckage in chesterfield. the impact sent the humvee barreling into a tree. the driver was ejected and critically injured. three other soldiers were hurt. two people in the car were transported to capitol health in trenton. the humvee was the final vehicle in a military convoy. two people were killed in a fiery crash in cobbs creek section. both victims were in a chrysler that ran a red light at 63rd and walnut. it filmed and hit a parked car. the chrysler caught fire. two people were trapped inside. they were not able to get out alive. the driver of the rav4 is in serious condition. now to baltimore where 50 protesters were arrested.

thousands more are expected to take part in a victory rally in celebration the announcement 6 police officers were charged in the death of freddie gray. we have more on the reaction of the charges being filed. >> reporter: these 6 baltimore police officers suspects charged in connection with freddie gray's death. >> mr. gray's death was a homicide. >> reporter: the state's attorney said gray should not have been arrested in the first place, that the knife in his pocket was legal. he said he was the put into the police van legs shackled hands cuffs and no seat belt. it was that van he suffered a spinal cord injury. when he asked for help officers didn't call paramedics or offer first aid. the driver is facing second degree murder.

officers. indictment was handed down in the bridgegate scandal as a high ranking official pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors that says he and others engineered traffic jams to get back at local politicians. >> reporter: david wildstein one of the top appointees at the point authority arrived at court to plead guilty that in 2013 he planned and computed a massive traffic tie jump at girard point bridge that left for the -- george washington bridge that left fort lee in tieup. they are charged in a nine count indictment with conspiracy, wire fraud and misusing government property. >> they orchestrated an illegal scheme in order to punish the mayor ever fort lee for not

there's over two hundred thousand students in philadelphia. jim kenney and tony williams are fighting over public schools versus charters. i think they're both wrong...it's making sure they all get a good education. teachers should have their contracts respected. they also should be held accountable. and it's wrong philadelphia gets less school funding than other parts of pennsylvania. i'll work with harrisburg to change that. but if they refuse i'll take them to federal court. as mayor i'll do what's right for them.

the water temperatures are starting to climb. we've been stuck in the 0s and 40s forever. now everything is starting to turn towards the better here. 55 for philadelphia. reading same number. wilmington, 55. dover, 53. most areas not seeing much in the way of a breeze. beach haven, atlantic city, 7 miles per hour and wildwood coming in at 6 miles per hour. if you have a round of golf, a tee time scheduled winds will not damper your golf plans. satellite and radar nothing going on other than clouds along the delaware bay. that's it across the lower 48. we have a cold front right now that is pushing across the high plains and that could activate this afternoon maybe it triggers showers and thunderstorms in this area highlighted here. this is our severe proabt -- probability map there's we could see thunderstorms and hail
