fire. inside this two story house a woman identified by friends as tiny whitiker and her 7-year-old son were sleeping. she woke up smelled smoke and tried toic wake up a man downs and when she -- downstairs, when she couldn't she went back up to get her son. the flames were so intense she crawled through a back window and escaped but they were severely burned. >> the little boy was screaming. i seen the fire, i was like oh, my god. i'm surprised she survived. >> reporter: michelle bruce called 911. they were taken to crozer-chester for treatment of the burns. pseag turned off the gas in the property it's not known is a leak contributed to the fire. >> at the end of the day for

gray. this morning the mayor of baltimore listed the curfew effective immediately. the gunman accused of seriously wounding a police officer is expected to be arraigned this afternoon. authorities at a d. blackwell shot and hit the detective in the driver seat. >> this is what he wanted to do with his life. he wanted to be a new york city police officer. he wanted to serve. is in critical, but stable condition following surgery. police arrested blackwell after a 90 minute search. they have not found the weapon used in the shooting. "action news" learned the little girl injured in the back seat of a car in west philadelphia has been shot. doctors first thought her injuries were due to shattered

>> police have arrested a man accused of murdering his brother it happened on the 5800 block of christian street. investigators say the 52 suspect got into a heated argument with his 36-year-old brother after the mayweather fight. during the argument the older brother pulled out a knife and stabbed his younger brother several times. the victim was pronounced inside the home. 8 days after the deadly earthquake in nepal. rescuers found three survivors in a mountain village. they have dug up 50 bodies in that village. the only way to reach this and other towns in this part of the country is by foot.
