fire. inside this two story house a woman identified by friends as tiny whitiker and her 7-year-old son were sleeping. she woke up smelled smoke and tried toic wake up a man downs and when she -- downstairs, when she couldn't she went back up to get her son. the flames were so intense she crawled through a back window and escaped but they were severely burned. >> the little boy was screaming. i seen the fire, i was like oh, my god. i'm surprised she survived. >> reporter: michelle bruce called 911. they were taken to crozer-chester for treatment of the burns. pseag turned off the gas in the property it's not known is a leak contributed to the fire. >> at the end of the day for

them not having a roof over their head and not having a place to stay and having to move around, so it's really bad. s.back live, now the second story of this burned out rowhouse is blackened inside, as is the first floor we don't know about the man the woman tried to wake up. we assumed he got out of the house. fire officials are investigating look at the explosion and fire. nora muchanic channel 6 "action news." >> firefighters were called to the vacant warehouse in camden overnight it happened at 12:40 at florence and south 7th streets. when firefighters arrived they found flames shooting through the roof. they brought the fire under control. no reports of injuries and no word on a cause. >> turning to the 36th annual blue cross broad street run. more than 40,000 rubbers took part in the ten mile that -- runners took part in the ten
