chadds ford. they fixed them, so traffic is moving better at 202 and baltimore pike. this problem in burlington county could be here for a while. an accident brought down a pole. stick to he elbow lane or walnut avenue to get around there. >> two men suspected of opening fire outside a free speech event in texas have been killed. fbi is working with local police to determine who the gunmen were and why they carried out the a.i. tack. katherine scott has the details live at the satellite center. >> reporter: matt there was a lot of controversy surrounding the event. they are working to his if the shooting was connected to the events. >> reporter: shots fired outside a free speech event in garland texas. just before 7:00 p.m., authorities in the dallas suburb say two gunmen were killed after

opening fire on a security officer. >> we heard boom boom and all of a sudden we see the cops everywhere. >> a vehicle pulled up, two men got out and opened fire on a garland independent school district security officer. else dressed like a police officer. however he is unarmed. >> reporter: garland officers saw what was happening and fired back, hitting enkilling the men at the scene. this happened outside a contest hosted by the new york-based american freedom defense initiative that would award ten thousand dollars for the best cartoon depicting the prophet muhammed. while the men's motive was not known, a bomb squad was called in to search the men's vehicle as a precaution. >> we evacuated businesses close by and the event center by putting people in school buses and taking them away from the area. >> reporter: once they have cleared the scene, authorities

will go in and take a closer look at the bodies and work on identifying the men and work on seeing what the motive is here. as for the that security officer he was treated and released from the hospital. matt. >> a driver struck and killed a woman crossing the new castle county street. it happened on the pulaski highway in bear at 1:00 a.m. the woman was in the westbound lanes when she was hit. the driver is cooperating with police the scene has been cleared. >> a 1-year-old baby boy and his teen mother are recovering. the woman tossed the child into the lehigh river and jumped in herself. on lookers say the woman attempted a murder suicide. >> when i got over here, they were telling me that some lady through the baby over the bridge

and then she jumped off. >> the mother made it out of the water and collapsed. the baby was 700 yards downstream and in the water for four minutes. an officer pulled the baby from the water and began cpr with another officer. allentown police say the mother and child are in serious condition. police have not released the mother's name. the investigation is on going. no charges have been filed yet. and happening today two former aids to new jersey governor chris christie are expected to make their first court appearances since the bridgegate indictment. they maintain their innocence facing nine criminal counts in connection with to the lane closures on the george washington bridge. david wildstein pleaded guilty on friday. governor christie maintains he had no knowledge of the plot. the city is trying to recover from the violent riots that broke out in several
