this noon with breaking news nearly 2000 customers are without power in south philadelphia. >> a worker suffered an electrical shock this morning. he was injured here at woodland just before 11:00. and over 1,000 customers and traffic lights will remain without electricity until investigators are figure out what happened. investigators are trying to figure out what cause aid fire that spread to at least six row homes in reading. it spread to six alarms where houses once stood in east laurel street. walter perez is live with a look at the damage. >> hi sarah here is a live look at the scene and the firefighters are still here put out spot spots. it started in this row home and

the steep incline and the fact that there are no fire hydrants on this block made it hard to put out the fire. the call came in at 7:30 this morning, fire crews arrived to find the middle section of these row homes engulfed in flames the people who lived here already evacuated and they could only watch as their homes were destroyed or damaged. one resident was hospitalized after suffering an asthma attack and there are at least 20 people homeless. >> there was nobody trapped inside. it was believed that one of the children from the home was still there, and didn't leave for school yet and is he accounted for. he is safe at school. >> now the red cross is here helping victims and so far no word on how this started. reporting live from reading,

channel 6 "action news." >> charges are filed after a 2-year-old boy managed to climb on to a roof by himself. police say he was left home alone in the frankford section of philadelphia. katherine scott is outside now with an update. >> that is right rick, police say the toddler and another little boy was left home alone while their mothers were next door. the charges are filed against the mother of recklessly en endangering the life of another person. this shows the boy in his diaper walking around the sloped roof and the toddler climbed through the window of the 4700 block of leaper street monday afternoon. >> heard the man outside yelling stay back and i come outside and i look and there is a baby on

the roof. >> frightened neighbors were yelling for him not to move. the baby was reaching out for the ladder that was the scariest part about it him reach ougt to it and everybody thinking he was going to fall. >> a first responder reached through the open window and pulled him inside. the boy and another toddler was left home alone and while they were next door, both were handcuffed and taken in for questioning. >> both of the mothers have been charged and the children were taken to saint christopher's hospital to be evaluated. >> okay katherine thank you. turning now to accuweather another warm may day, showers are possible throughout the afternoon. sky 6 hd looking live from our temple university camera getting cloudy after a sunny morning. lets check in with meteorologist, david murphy over at the big board.

it's warm, and we are on the lookout for precipitation, and as we look out to the west in harrisburg tlrk are showers beginning to show up on stormtracker 6 live double scan and as we take a look at the wide view, you can see even more by cleveland and detroit. there is this little cell grouping in the center of the state that is moving in our direction. as we go later into the afternoon we are looking at a series of pulses of energy coming through and in the evening the best chance of seeing something but we can't totally rule things out. another thing is the cloud cover as sara mentioned. the clouds have started to mix a little bit these are thin enough to allow sunshine in and cloudier than it was earlier. temperatures are zooming again for the second straight day even up in allentown you are up at 76 80 in millville and 77 down at the shore and of course these numbers aren't done we'll
