model wants to bring in some showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. we've caught one lightning bolt out on the other side of harrisburg from one of those cells so far this morning and then as this passes through we get up to lunchtime and we're basically cloudy with maybe a few sunny breaks and a couple of lingering sprinkles. the rest of the afternoon looks dry with a mix of clouds and sun, a couple of other spits of shower activity particularly down south. as we roll through the day the big story is going to be how it's not quite as warm as it's been the last couple of days. 66 degrees by 8 o'clock, 74 by 11 o'clock. your high today is 76 at 2 o'clock, comfortable an tad above average but just not as warm as the last couple of cooking days when we got up into the mid 80's. by 5 o'clock we're still holding onto the low 70's. high temperatures across the region 69 degrees in allentown today, 70 in reading, 76 in both philadelphia and wilmington and in the upper 60's down along the shore. again, that spotty shower but clouds and sun most of the day. tomorrow high pressure sets up off the coast. that encourages more of a southerly flow and we wind up warming up to 81 tomorrow with that warmer southwest wind
