kelly drive is closed between strawberry mansion and mountain green drive until 6:00 p.m. saturday for the dann dad vail regatta. >> an all out manhunt for a murder suspect who may be be traveling armed. katherine scott is live in dash dash -- darby borough. >> reporter: they don't the name or the identity of the victim. it is believed he is around 50 years old. he was shot in darby borough. the street is closed off for the investigation as authorities are inside the apartment building trying to determine what happened the victim was shot in the hallway. detectives are inside the

building. he was pronounced at the scene this morning. they don't have a detailed description of the suspect he might be carrying a long gun but that's not confirmed. they are looking for surveillance video to confirm the act. the building was evacuated as police investigate. >> we took them out because we weren't sure that the shooter was inside the buildings. we got information that someone ran down the street. >> reporter: authorities will be looking for surveillance footage to see if they can find occupant more about the suspect -- out more built suspect they don't know what spurred the shooting or what led up to it. residents were evacuated as they took a look through the building they wanted to make sure that the suspect was not hiding inside the building. this remains under investigation, live in darby borough. channel 6 "action news." >> thank you, katherine. developing overnight a teen in state custody while still

wearing his handcuffs who days ago has turned himself in. the action cam was in southwest philadelphia as singletary surrendered with his lawyer. the handcuffed teen jumped out of the vehicle because the child locks were not activated. a teen's brother willie singletary worked with the teen to turn himself in. willie singletary is a former traffic court judge and heading to federal prison for his conviction in a corruption scandal. >> we're a close family we work together, i'm happy not because of the situation it didn't turn out like a baltimore or furgeson the police department did exactly what they did best, they took him in. >> singletary is suspected in a string of gunpoint robberies and

home invasions. wildfires are burning in south jersey right now. firefighters are trying to get the flames under control. battling the massive blaze has not been easy because of the hot and dry conditions. >> the fire has spread across 700 acres of the war ton state forest in shamong township. the fire is under control that's the good news. they are lighting a series of backfires around the main blaze to starve it from much needed fuel. >> it's a great feeling when what's happening on the ground what happens in the air comes together. >> now, officials have not ordered any surrounding neighborhoods to evacuate. firefighters are on the scene to douse hot spots and control the area. >> two armed bandits are on the run after busting into a bucks
