delaware we have a dense fog advisory as visibility has sunk to a quarter mile. ozone orange alert in south jersey and some of it could spill in here, as well. people with respiratory ailments should avoid exercising outdoors. we have cloud cover to the west that might sweep through at times, bus but generally speaking we'll get rid of the low-lying cloud cover down the shore. as we go through the day, it will be a warm one kids, and everyone else, 84 degrees by 3:00 p.m., high of 85 around 3:30, 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. karen, the weekend call is coming up. >> reporter: let's check the fog on the cameras. i-95 we've been noticing the foggy between delaware and the

airport heading out you need to be careful you can see it in the dance, be careful as you travel in some spots. this is i-95 northbound heading toward the blue route. looking at the tacony-palmyra bridge you see the fog the tacony was up it's back down and traffic is starting to move, watch for it to be slow with the tacony having gone up. we have a new fire location north philadelphia west tioga street. it's under control it's a house fire. you might want to stick to glenwood while crews are on the scene. you'll see a lot of happening around temple university. it's commencement time. 8:30, watch for extra congestion there. fairmont park we'll tell you about kelly drive, it doesn't reopen until 6:00 p.m. on saturday, stick to mlk drive or the schuylkill expressway because of the dad vail regatta. >> we're starting with breaking

news, right now police are looking for a murder suspect in delaware county. they think this man is armed an dangerous. let's go over to katherine scott live in darby borough. good morning katherine. good morning, tam, police are looking for surveillance footage in the area hoping to help in the investigation, they are working to notify the family members. main street is reopened in darby borough. it was closed during the investigation. the officers are still on scene investigating. it happened at 1:00 a.m. police say the victim was shot in the hallway near the front door, he was pronounced at the scene. police are working to contact family members. they don't have a detailed description of the suspect but they say he might have been carrying a rifle. >> black male was seen running from here, east on main street towards 5th with dark clothing at this point that's all we

university student critically injured in a recent hit-and-run crash will graduate from college. rachel hall's mother will accept the diploma on her behalf. philadelphia police have charged robert robert roberts for hitting the girl. he said he panic and that he is why he fled. some people who suffered from super-storm sandy have been waiting for three years. >> reporter: good news for homeowners who suffered property damage saturday of sandy. fema will send out letters to homeowners to reopen their claims. they will be assigned a case worker and independent third party review of the findings. a north carolina police officer suing starbucks for

>> reporter: [laughter]. storm tracker 6 live double scan shows we're dry heading into friday. as we look at the fog situation dense fog still a problem down along coastal areas along the shore. empty red it's a quarter mile or less orange, half mile or less, you want to slow it down, down the shore or southern delaware and you're encountering the fog. as we look outside we have sunshine coming up. in philadelphia, we have misty cloud cover it's lighter around philadelphia and not much of an issue and evaporating quickly. the dense fog advisory by the way down the shore closer to the coast expires at 8:00 a.m. 55 in philadelphia. 52 in allentown. 57 in wilmington. 53 in trenton. foggy down the shore the fog breaking up at 8:00 a.m. low-lying cloud cover breaking up at 9:00 or 10:00.

as we look at satellite there's another sweep of clouds coming in from the west, generally speaking we're going for mostly sunny skies, up in allentown high of 85. mostly sunny and warm this afternoon. down the shore cooler as it's been often this spring. we're in the low 70s from cape may to atlantic city. 7 # for the high. mostly sunny skies overall once we get rid of the early morning fog that's bothering you down there for now. high temperatures in philadelphia mid 80s. 85 at the airport, 86 in center city. wind are light out of the southeast at 6 to 1 miles per hour. as we roll through the day 8:00 a.m. we're cool in the 50s, mid 70s by 11:00. we spend the afternoon in the 80s high of 85 around 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. if you're heading to the phillies and mets as the phils come home. 77 degrees for the first pitch

lower southampton township, bucks county we have an accident where a vehicle ran into a traffic signal. this is philmont at street road, 132, look for that. we're seeing speeds 32 miles per hour on the pennsylvania turnpike with that live update coming in right there. new castle county, i-95 northbound is reopened at 202. it will close tomorrow at 5:00 a.m. and not reopened until 5:00 a.m. on monday, you'll be dealing with that through the weekend. stick with 4935 -- 495 northbound instead. >> a great philadelphia tradition begins today on the schuylkill schuylkill. the action cam was along kelly drive as people got ready for the 77th annual dad vail regatta. parts of kelly drive is closed from now through 6:00 p.m. you can watch coverage on 6abc
