high. >> let's go over to david with weather and karen rogers has her eyes on the roads. >> reporter: the best chance of fog is in the coastal counties and we're seeing low-lying cloud cover obscuring the center city sky scrapers. we're looking at breaks to the west and overall a mix of clouds and sun, it's muggy 70 degrees at this early hour. you can see the southerly flow out of the southern waters. 70 in allentown. 60s closer to the coast. dewpoints are running in the mid 60s almost anywhere, remember when you get the numbers over 60 it's feeling humid. stepping outside to catch the school bus kiddos. 67 by 6:00. 68 by 8. 70 by 9:00.

avoid that one. 42 northbound traffic a creek road fog not impacting traffic. i drove up from the jersey shore a couple of hours ago you certainly notice the fog but it didn't calls any problems, matt. >> back to the fire you mentioned it is breaking this morning happened at a new jersey apartment complex one person jumped two stories to get to safety. a firefighter is among those injured. katherine scott is live in east windsor township, mercer county where firefighters remain on the scene. katherine. >> reporter: matt i did speak with one resident who said she saw the man jump from the second floor window, there was so much smoke in that apartment. she doesn't know his condition now, but he feels taken to the hospital. firefighters remain on the scene as they continue to put out hot spots, you can see the smoke coming from the building over there. 16 units were affected by the fire. police are trying to get a head

count of the number of people. several people were injured but again there's no word on their condition. this was a fast-moving fire. it broke out at 2:30 a.m. at the building windsor castle apartments in east windsor township. fire crews were met with heavy smoke and fire. one person was hurt jumping from a second-story window. a second person was injured and treated at the scene. a firefighter did suffer an ankle injury. we don't know what caused the fire, that will be part of the investigation, but firefighters remain here on the scene. there's a lot of closer in the area as this scene is in process with firefighters putting out hot spots and contain certain parts of it. of course, we'll keep you updated, but again one person had to jump from a second-story window residents say there was too much smoke there he was trying to escape that, there were no young kids in that home, we'll bring you updates

katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> gunfire in the city of chester left two men hit one critically. one was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head the second victim showed up with a gunshot wound to the arm. an autopsy is which he schedule he willed on a 1-year-old -- is scheduled on a 1-year-old boy who was tossed into the lehigh river by his own mother. his mother pushed the child over the railing of an allentown bridge on may 3. a police officer pulled the by from the river 700 yards downstream, but he was under four minutes. perry is charged with attempted murder. there's no word on if the charges will be upgraded. >> it was a difficult mother's day for a mother who went to visit her grandmother's grave in delaware county.

she arrived to find the site at a state in disrepair. she laid flowers at the grave yesterday and psalm that the area was overgrown with -- and she claims that the area is overgrown with grass and weeds. >> everybody is complaining but nothing is getting done. storm tracker 6 live double scan shows we're dry, as we look outside we have low-lying cloud cover around the region, although at the airport it doesn't look too bad. there's patchy fog, as well. that's closer to the coastal. we had a dense fog advisory posted down the shore it appears it's been lifted early because the fog is not as bad as we were thinking it might be. temperatures, 70 degrees in philadelphia. again as you step outside, you can feel the muggy, 70 in allentown, 69 in trenton. 67 in wilmington. low # 60s an along the boardwalk in atlantic city where it will be cooler today. satellite showing you low cloud cover in and around i-95 and the pennsylvania turnpike, this will break up to a degree today we'll wind up with a mix of clouds and sun. there's a slight chance of a spotty shower popping through. i'm posting that for the lehigh valley. the big issue is high of 84 and high humidity making it feel muggy. down the shore a bit humid

>> a powerful typhoon claimed at least two lives in the northeastern tip of philippines. i meant weakened since making landfall and dumped a foot of rain on the region and knocked out power. nearly 3500 evacuees have returned to their homes. the storm is expected to weaken further as it heads toward southern japan. >> reporter: in our area it's clear and dry but we have couple of issues out there, i want to take you live to woodhaven road at thornton road in northeast philadelphia. local woodhaven road we have a downed pole from an earlier accident. peco is on the scene.

taking a live look at the ben franklin bridge don't see much cloud cover here, low cloud cover, but areas you might see it this morning. a group of mothers marched in washington to protest police brutality. mothers for justice united sponsored the demonstration called the million moms march. organization includes mothers whose children were killed by police officers. the march moved from u.s. capitol to the department. justice. a family celebrated a special mother's day one-year-old natalie returned home from a texas hospital for the first time since a marathon surgery separated her from her conjoined twin. they were face-to-face heart to heart for the first ten months of their lives. this risky surgery at the texas hospital was a success. everyone is hoping that adeline will be home soon, too. a lot of people have a hard time going to sleep and staying
