the delaware bay and it now looks like it will probably jump the bay and get into parts of south jersey around bayside, greenwich, shiloh and bridgeton, so between now and 6:56 if you're in any of those communities, maybe give it about 10 minutes as that thing passes. it should take about a half hour for it to travel the length of that red arrow. so bridgeton still a little ways away and we'll see whether or not it survives that far but anyway, that's the rain that you have this morning. the wide view satellite and radar shows you that everybody else is drive. a lot of showers and thunderstorms to the west overnight fell apart as they headed toward the east and we really didn't wind up with much. frankly weren't expecting much last night. 68 degrees in philadelphia right now. feeling a bit on the muggy side. 65 in wilmington, 65 in millville, 65 in allentown and your dewpoints anything over 60 always indicates humid air and right now we actually have dewpoints in the mid 60's so a little bit muggy. as we go through the day we're going to shoot on up into the mid 80's by noon and then we get a high of 88 by 3 o'clock. the change today, however, is in the humidity.
6:32 am
as we go past lunchtime the humidity levels will drop and while it gets very warm this afternoon, it won't be as humid later as it is this morning. it's also going to get windy. we'll talk more about that and then a big cool change for tomorrow in the accuweather 7-day forecast. karen for now what are roads looking like. >> remember yesterday morning we had so many accidents through the region. so far so good but we are looking at a jam on the schuylkill. this is looking live at city avenue. westbound traffic jammed from the boulevard to gladwyne. eastbound is pretty heavy too, conshohocken to the curve and the boulevard to girard. we have a water main break happening right now. this is upper dublin montgomery county and instead of pine town road, i would stick to camp hill road because we have crews on the scene near highland avenue trying to fix the water out there and the water main break they're dealing with. looking live on 422 eastbound traffic, it's eastbound traffic heavy from oaks to 23. so no accidents on 422. just your normal slow go. we have a fire location here in new castle county that's causing a problem. old baltimore pike is currently blocked at main

had some severe weather out in ohio western pennsylvania last evening. that fell apart as it tries to head east. now we have a little bit of that shower activity mainly down south of philadelphia this morning and that won't be around that much longer. the big story today really there's several of them but the main thing is how warm we're going to be later on. we're at 70 at 8 o'clock then 82 by 11:00. 87 by 2 o'clock with a high of 88 degrees just three off the record high for this date and that will be at about 3 o'clock. the other story today is that as the temperatures rise, we get past around lunchtime and the humidity will start to drop and winds will pick up so a little sticky this morning. this afternoon very warm but not as humid and more winds building in. high temperatures from north to south from about philadelphia, even down to millville and north we're going to be in the 80's. down the shore the mid to upper 70's. real nice day on the beach actually and less humid as the day goes on in most spots. dewpoints we'll track them on future tracker six. you get up to lunchtime and we're probably still over 60

across much of the region but here's what i'm talking about with that dry air beginning to build into the surface. you see those dewpoints during the afternoon right up until 6 o'clock dropping down into the 50's close to philadelphia and north. if you're down the shore later this afternoon or even down toward millville and dover it might still feel a little bit humid as we're not going to get quite as much dry air filtering in there. phillies forecast tonight 82 for the first pitch, 72 in the ninth inning in philadelphia the humidity much lower this evening so it will be comfortable, partly cloudy probably a little bit breezy as the phils once again try and beat the bucs. tomorrow high pressure out to the west, the winds turn from the cooler northwest and we wind up with a high of just 70. so upper 80's today only 70 tomorrow. your exclusive accuweather 7-day, 88 today, 70 tomorrow. tomorrow will be a sunny and windy day. and then sunny and nice on thursday with a high of 74. and friday also looking pretty good 76 degrees, partly sunny skies. if we see any rain on friday it won't be until late at night. saturday doesn't look great. cloudy at times some showers nice high of 78. and then back up to around 80 on sunday with a mix of clouds
