accident the black box says the train was speeding and the engineer put the train into a full emergency braking mode but it was too little too late. >> maximum authorized speed through this curve was 50 miles per hour, when the engineer induced brake application was applied, the train was traveling at approximately 106 miles per hour. >> the ntsb knows the train was moving more than 50 miles per hour over the posted stead limit but does not at this point know why. >> our mission was to find out not only what happened and why it happened so we can prevent it from happening again. that is really what we are leer for. >> earlier today searchers found the seventh fatality in the wreckage and it's report that there were 243 people aboard and the city is having difficulty

an exterminator is convicted of murdering a center city philadelphia doctor. a jury found jason smith gimty, he confessed to strangling her in 2013 and was hired to work on her home, and told investigators that the pair argued over the quality of his work. it was 30 years ago today that the philadelphia police department dropped a bomb on the move compound on osage avenue, and left five including two children dead and started a fire that destroyed 65 homes. those participated in today's rally says it's important to remember the victims as well as call attention to what the demonstrators call police misconduct. the phillies are trying to

i'm lynne abraham. when i became philadelphia's da, child victims had to face a judge ...a jury...the public... and testify eye to eye with their attackers. it wasn't right. so i got a constitutional amendment passed allowing children to testify remotely. i'm running for mayor for the same reason -- our children should come first. jim kenney and tony williams are fighting over public schools versus charters. i disagree. we have to improve education for all of our children.
