on the overheadlines that is released to the ntsb, we have heard from them and they released the video of the and it accelerated from 70 and in 16 seconds from impact it was going over 100 miles per hour. it was clearly accelerating to the point where it ends up in this derailment. they have agreed to talk to the engineer and the engineer agreed to talk to them. >> i am pleased to report that we have contacted the engineer and he has agreed to be interest viewed by the ntsb and we look forward to that opportunity and we'll be meeting with him in the next few days. >> the city recovered an eighth dead passenger from inside the wreckage. a cadaver dog was called in.

>> the dog hit on a couple of spots and we were able to find one other passenger in the wreckage. >> as the on site investigation winds down, they were asked when they were expected to repair the site and resume service along the busy northeast corridor. >> maybe service monday and full service for tuesday. >> reporter: so at this point amtrak is focusing on trying to restore service as fast as possible. they have to relay the rail as well as the overhead wires and they hope to have limited service by early next week. john rawlins, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. as john mentioned the rail cars and and begins are being moved to the amtrak maintenance yard in bear, delaware there the wreckage will undergo three dimensional scans they take

precise measurements to show the damages to the cars. most of our focus now is on the engineer of the amtrak 188 brandon bostian, it was going 106 miles per hour when it derailed into a 50 miles per hour zone. chad pradelli is live now outside of his attorney's office. >> reporter: his lawyer says he remembers nothing from the accident and why the train was going so fast. but the ntsb should letter more when bostian is interviewed. >> the fact that the train was going at excessive speed but the reason is to be determined. >> he entered the curve and attempted to reduce speed and

tortrous tactics and home invasions and robberies, they are accused of stealing jewelry and cars and cash and drugs from their victims in a years long crime spree that stretched from philadelphia to the suburbs. >> on july 15th two men posing as police waived around automatic guns at 12 and and market. federal prosecutors say one was khalil smith and the other one of a violent robbery ring operating around the region until last month. >> the suspects were bold in committing these crimes. >> at the store the other members of the ring posed as customers and others stood watch monitoring the police radios, and they left with nothing when the police were on the way. they allege that the 16 men in the group used violent tactics

in home invasion targeting victims they thought drugs. >> including waterboarding and threatening to being shot. >> this home was targeted in 2013 they allegedly placed gps devices on the victim's cars so he knew where he lived. >> they forced victim in his home and restrained him and threatened him and assaulted him and then stole electronics and guns and cash. two defendants are accused of robbing a man in july of 2014, 12 of the 16 defendants are in custody, the atf need help finding cheney and seeingers so they can join their friends now in federal custody.
