bloomquist is off and we begin with breaking news from mercer county. an investigation is underway at hamilton township postal will facility after several people got sick. new jersey correspondent nor muchanic has been gathering more information and joins us live at the scene with more, nora? >> reporter: hi there rick what we have been told is workers became sick and at 10:00 o'clock this morning one passed out we are told and six or seven people became dizzy and nauseated. now they are being treated on the scene right now by emt's. these people have not been transported to the hospital, and other employees here, that is them waiting on the lawn right now but this situation to clear. let's go to aerials from chopper six. this was the scene this morning as hazmat crews responded. fire fighters in full hazmat gear and breathing apparatus first examined a postal vehicle, and then a red car and then eventually two of the first responders in hazmat

gear went inside the building which is a carrier annex where postal carriers come and get mail for delivery. now the report came in as a strong sweet odor that caused the evacuation and made people sick. it is still unclear why, or how that happened. now, hamilton's health officer says a number of air quality tests have been conducted at the scene. so far they are not coming up with any kind of a noxious or toxic substance in the the air. dozens of workers as you said, or as you saw were outside on the lawn. they are still there now. a number of them have been check out by emt's for vital is a at the scene. no one was taken to the hospital, according to hamilton health officer jeff and they are being monitored on the ground. we are awaiting a briefing from postal officials again back live, a strong sweet odor, six or seven people, one passed out, and six or seven were sick even.

you are watching those folks now. they are all outside on the lawn. authority are still trying to figure out exactly what is going on, because they don't know. they run tests but nothing is coming up positive at this point. there are a number of officials from various departments on the scene right now, we will keep monitoring it for here for now i'm nora muchanic live, from hamilton township. >> nora, thank you. more breaking news here in the rhawnhurst section of philadelphia where a car slammed into a house. it happened about 45 minutes ago, here on the 2300 block of loany street. you can see the vehicle went through the brick front of the home no word on what cause the car to korean out of control and we are working to find out if anyone was hurt. well, the last of the derailed train cars has been removed from port richmond clearing way for amtrak to repair the damage tracks. meanwhile investigators continue to focus on why the train sped up dramatically in the last minutes before it crashed. "action news" reporter catherine scott joins us live from port richmond with the very latest, catherine?

>> reporter: well, rick, you can see that the police barricade still remain in this neighborhood. yesterday, federal investigators released the crash site over to amtrak and they are working to make repairs. chopper 6hd was over the port richmond crash site today as crews worked to make repairs. final railcar seen here, wrapped in black was loaded on to a a flatbed and driven out overnight, to a secure facility in delaware. this morning the national transportation safety board released this picture of the event recorder in tuesday's derailment and they are hoping to pull data to help explain what happened. >> we're just collecting facts at this point. we will look at the the human we will look at the machine we will look at the environment. those are things that we traditionally will look at. we want to gather information in each of those domains. >> reporter: new surveillance footage shows train 188 speeding moments before that crash, so far investigators have not found problems with the tracks, signals or

locomotives that explained acceleration to more than 100 miles per hour but started 65 seconds before the crash. they are looking at a number of different factors and they are planning to interview three two-year old engineer brandon bostian in the coming days. >> we very much look forward to the engineer's first hand account, of what has happened. bostian's attorney says that his client does not recall much around the the the accident. again, bostian has agreed to speak with federal investigators in the coming days. he is entitled to be in that conversation with his attorney, one other person, it could be his attorney or somebody else. but that is expect to happen, in the next few days. we also have an update on a number of patient that is remain at temple university hospital, where we're told that 12 patients remain there five of them are in critical condition. live from port richmond catherine scott channel six "action news". the first of eight funerals for victims of the derailment is underway in new

york. justin zemser is being laid to rest on his native long island. he was a naval academy mid ship man and traveling home when he was killed in tuesday's accident. zemser was youngest of the eight people who died. victims includes plainsboro new jersey natees jim gaines and rachel jacobs the ceo of a philadelphia start up company. meanwhile, a survivor of the crash has filed the first lawsuit against amtrak. the bruce phillips of southwest philadelphia is being treated for brain and spine injuries. he actually works for amtrak and was catching a ride for free while he was off-duty. federal lawsuit is seeking more than $150,000, in damages. amtrak is working to restore service to parts of the northeast corridor. some trains will begin running between philadelphia and new york, on monday, with full services, expect to be restored by tuesday. modified services continued today between philadelphia, and washington d.c. our coverage of the train derailment continues on line at six abc.com.

forecast and get the very latest from our team of meteorologists. in other news the search team has located a wreckage of the missing helicopter carrying six u.s. marines. chopper was on a mission to help earthquake victims in nepal when it crashed and it appears there are no survivors. abc news correspondent sergio catana reports from nepal. >> reporter: knee pale rescuers scouring the rugged terrain, spotted wreckage of the crash. the uh1 hughy difficulties a appeared while delivering earthquake relief supplies in nepal. six u.s. in marines and two soldiers were on board the chopper when it was lost after tuesday's 7.3 magnitude earthquake. it was nepal's second major quake in less than three weeks. for wreckage of the helicopter was found in pieces and there are no chances of survivors according to nepal defense secretary. cause of the crash has not yet been known but weather and terrain high up in the himalayas are treacherous. >> we will continue to mourn

loss and observe sacrifice of the great soldiers from the nepal and our marines who lost their lives. >> reporter: military has not yet identified the marines on the helicopter, but abc affiliate ka ke in wichita interviewed the family of chris norgrin, his mom terry, got flowers from her son for mothers day last sunday. the next day came word that the helicopter that he was piloting was missing. >> i love you, i believe in you, proud of what you are doing. you have have helped so many other people there chris. i know that you are ready to come home. >> reporter: recovery as called off just before sunset here in part because of the bad weather conditions. sergio catana, abc news, nepal. jury deliberations are continuing in the penalty phase of the boston marathon bombing trial. jurors deliberated more than eight hours wednesday and thursday without reaching a verdict. they convicted dzhokhar tsarnaev of 30 charges in the april 2013 bombing.

seventeen of those charges carry the possibility of the death penalty. three people were killed and more than 260 were hurt when two pressure cooker bombs exploded near the marathon finish line. tributes are pouring in for blues legend bb king. so-called king of blues died last night at his home in las vegas. gladys knight and ring owe star are taking to twitter, to remember king. gladys knight tweeted this, what a brilliant man you you were, one who will be forever noted as a inspiration to millions globally. bb king won 15 grammys during his career, and in 1995 became first blues musician to be honor with the kennedy lifetime achievement award. in 2006 he received the presidential medal of freedom for his musical contributions. king suffered from diabetes and his health had been declining over the past year. bb king was 89 years old. president obama paying tribute to law enforcement

police say a five five-year old pennsylvania woman confessed to killing her husband and she admitted it was no accident. christopher catcher was shot to death by his wife patricia, just hours after he was grant granted an emergency protection order against her patricia catcher had a allegedly trashed the the

couple's home in allegheny county and threatened christopher with guns in the days leading up to murder. she was able to break in through a window and shot her husband when he woke up. she's now being held on a charge of criminal homicide. two students are recovering after gunman opened fire on their school bus here in jacksonville, florida. the girls age 14 and 15 were both shot yesterday afternoon. the investigators say bus was stopped by two suspects who tried to fight someone on board. they opened fire at the the bus driving away. at least one of the victims was shot in the face. both girls though are expect to survived. schools in that district are opened today but some buses are now traveling with extra security. and in washington d.c., four people were killed in the fire that ripped through a home in an up scale neighborhood there. second floor was destroyed completely destroyed by the flames. fire fighters say the blaze is suspicious in nature but they have not said anything about a cause, or a suspect. the the home is nearby the
