"action news" reporter dann cuellar is live at cooper university hospital tonight dann, what is the story there. >> reporter: well, jim, two month-old baby girl is here at cooper trauma, in serious but stable condition. the circumstances which resulted in her injury are remarkable. chopper 6hd was over cooper when the baby girl was flown by helicopter. we have come to learn this began late today when child was in the backyard with her mother and family dog a pit bull at their home in the unit belong of connchita court. the mother went inside to refill the baby a's bottle. during that time the dog thought the baby was being left outside unintended so she lifted the child up with her mouth and carried the child in the house. in the process of trying to do a good thing the dog's teeth punctured the child's chest which is why the child was flown here to cooper university hospital. now, police, rescue crews and

tomorrow jim. reporting live from west mt. airy tonight kenneth moton for channel six "action news". all right, kenneth. allegations of hazing on the the st. joes women's softball team, first reported on "action news" last month are leading to a federal lawsuit tonight. the plaintiff has not been identified, but she claims that during a week long period in 2013, that she was pressured into demeaning behaving of a sexual nature and that she had suicidal thoughts before quitting the team. the university already suspended the softball team but decline comment on this specific lawsuit. the cell phone of amtrak engineer brian bostian is the latest source of scrutiny, in the train derailment probe. ntsb investigators are in possession of the phone, they are pouring over phone record, from the day of the crash trying to match time stamps up with other sources from the train such as data recorders and video.
