gunshots. when they drove to 43nd and girard they found a victim in the road. after he was shot he collapsed in the road and hit by a black pontiac. police caught up with the pontiac and the driver was taken into custody because he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. he is facing charges. as for the 29-year-old who was shot and hit by the car was pronounced around midnight. a handgun and crack cocaine was in his possession. he was shot at pointblank range. >> reporter: we found 12 spent shell casings some feet away from where the victim collapsed. >> reporter: this neeson was hit by stray gunfire.

the 52-year-old driver and his passenger were not injured. officers racism on the scene they hope -- remain on the scene, they hope to pull surveillance video to help in the investigation. katherine scott channel 6 "action news". >> a shooting victim in montgomery county managed to run an entire block before collapsing overnight. this is new video from the scene of the 100 block of pearl street in norristown. the victim is in the hospital. police have not released information on who shot him. the race is on to clean up a hazardous oil spill along scenic beaches in california. federal officials believe more than 100,000 of gallons of oil may have leaked from a broken onshore pipeline.

police are looking for a man who grabbed a female jogger in newark. the suspect is described as a white man 30 years with dark hair and dark bushy beard. in recent years people who live in rittenhouse park say there are reports of men living in the woods in tents. a mother in bucks county turned in her own son to police as a suspected bank robber. after another family member recognized him in the surveillance images. he held up the td bank yesterday morning. she thought her son on a suicide mission stealing the money in order to buy enough heroin to overdose. the ocean city boardwalk people were out walking and
