officers heard multiple gunshots when they drove to 42nd and girard. they found a 29-year-old man lying in the road. he was shot multiple times. after he was shot he was pit by a black -- hit by a black pontiac. the driver was taken into custody because he appeared be to drunk. as for the 29-year-old who was shot and hit by a car he was pronounced at the hospital. a handgun and crack cocaine was in his possession. evidence indicates he was shot at point-blank range. >> 52 yrmtd driver was very, very ---year-old driver was very very lucky. his vehicle was struck by a bullet. had it been an inch over, it could have gone in the

windshield and struck the driver. >> reporter: the stray bullet on the drivers side, the driver and passenger were not injured. there are surveillance cameras nearby they hope that the footage will help in the investigation. >> karen mentioned this story which is developing. new video just arrived from the scene of a deadly crash in salem county, new jersey. police say the driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole at landis avenue and big oak road. the driver was ejected and pronounced at the scene. crews are cleaning up the scene. >> upper darby police need your help identifying the man who robbed chick pete's. the same woman was targeted last october during a holdup in drexel hill.
