in collinings dale. they have few clues to go on. >> reporter: you can see the boarded up windows where the thieves gained access to the gun store and they were spotted up and down mcdade boulevard they made off with nearly 20 weapons, police believe they may have been inside of the gun store before and they knew how to pop out the front window and the grate to get in. they stole from the suburban armory gun store in collingdale three to four men arrived in two different vehicles the men in the minivan acted as lookouts while the others went near the store, they seemed spooked and walked away and then were seen

he died a short time later and they are talking to the driver that hit him but no word on the shooter. police are chip kellying the surveillance cameras in the area to see if they have video of what happened. a judge has dismissed the domestic violence charges against former running back ray rice, he was seen knocking out his girlfriend in a hotel elevator in laep city it led to charges and multiple suspensions in the nfl. today the judge threw out the case and that could pave the way for rice to return to football although he is not under contract with any team right now. two dozen preschoolers when to the hospital after a school bus crashed on the schuylkill expressway, it happened in the eastbound lanes at girard avenue 24 students from hope church school and six adults were on their way to the school when the bus hit a barrier and

eight months ago trooper alex douglas was shot outside of the barracks in pike county and those shots allegedly shot by eric frein. today is he talking exclusively with an emotional interview with our sister station in scranton he is recalling that horrifying night and sharing his road to recovery. >> i heard what sounded like fireworks going off. >> the nearly ten years veteran ran towards the barracks and as he ran towards the entrance he found corporal brian dixon on the ground. when i went over to him i got shot and i when to my knees i knew then that somebody was shooting at us and i crawled on my arms and i couldn't feelly

legs at the time. when they pulled him into the lobby someone started to secure the lobby of the barracks. >> i didn't know if there was one or two guys out there. dixon was flown to the medical center in scranton and he almost didn't make it either. >> i coded twice that i know of on the table. >> his heart stopped twice but incredibly he was revived twice almost a week after the ambush trooper douglas says he was in a medically induced coma and at the same time hundreds of officers from around the country had begun searching for eric frein in the poconos and became one of the ten most wanted in america. and he was captured in an old airport hangar in monroe county.

world. palmyra is home to 2,000 year old roman col a massive oil spill stretches for miles off the coast of california, thousands of crude oil leaked into the ocean from a broken pipeline on tuesday, and the company that owns the pipeline says that as much as 500,000 gallons could be in the water near santa barbara. they say they have seen dead fish and several oil covered birds. to business now here at the big board it's green arrows the dow jones picking up a slight amount there and the nasdaq up 19 points and the s&p 500 gaining close to 5.

north and west temperatures in the upper 50s still very cool but adding at least a few degrees to the col numbers to the south. satellite and radar the low pressure is to the south and it's heading out to see and the rain continues to move in a southeasterly fashion and to the north and west the clouds extend to buffalo and break apart over this evening and high pressure takes over late tonight and tomorrow morning. the rain is over at 11:00 through much of delaware and i-95 and at the shore raining moderately at 11:00 tonight but by tomorrow morning at 7:30 the sunshine is back even at the shore communities it's quick drying overnight and that is good news for the friday get away for the forecast breezy and warmer and low humidity at 76 degrees and 76 for the shore and mostly sunny and could be a spotty afternoon shower in the poconos and cooler but better

than today at 64 degrees, if you are headed to the shore for the upcoming weekend and going on the open waters the bay is the place to be upper 60s to near 70 for the temperature and at the shore 59 that is still cold, the kids will be out in the water no matter what but that is arm for this time of your. it's breezy and warmer and brighter tomorrow 76 degrees, we step it down on saturday sunny and refreshing at 70 degrees and sun and clouds with a high temperature of 80 and low humidity and then the humidity spikes here along with the temperatures on memorial day itself at 85 degrees it looked like scattered storms tomorrow and this weekend is pretty perfect for memorial day, typically around here memorial day is one of the worst summer holidays weather wise, but not this go around.

>> police are looking for two women that robbed a beauty shop in south philadelphia, it happened on tuesday at cosmo professional beauty supply, and two women walked in and took things right off the shelf and tried to walk out and an employee confronted them and police say they used pepper spray on them. anybody with information is asked to please contact them. a truck caught fire on the pennsylvania turnpike and tied up traffic during the rush hour. these are pictures of the chars truck in bucks county the fire blocked the lane near route 29 and downingtown and that led to

stretches from washington d.c. to new york city. >> it's much easier if they interpthemselves in. >> the 27-year-old is the main suspect, that left dead a couple and their 10-year-old son and their house keeper. wint is on the run and they believe he is recently staying with a girlfriend in brooklyn new york, that woman told police that wint indicated he was considering surrounding and heading back to the d.c. area, wint's motive is unknown but the crime was not random. he worked at one time for his company, american iron works. >> we believe there is a connection between the suspect in this case through the business. >> a dominoes pizza may have broken open this mystery. sources tell abc news that wint was identified by dna from a

involving the same family within 24 hours. paramedics responded three times to one home along the 300 block of morris drive. a 79-year-old woman died after going into cardiac arrest and yesterday her 79-year-old husband fell unconscious and was hospitalized in critical condition, and later the couple's 58-year-old son was take and to christiana hospital in critical condition the delaware health department is one of several agencies looking to investigate what happened. police are asking for the public's haep to find to find two men that robbed a bar this week, they rushed into the play maker bar on north 28th street just after midnight on tuesday one man points a chrome revolver at the customers and then moves on to the register after getting

the city of omaha nebraska is mourning the tragic death of a police officer killed in the line of duty this week, officer kerry orozco died on tuesday one day after her maternity leave was to start. she managed to kill the suspect before being fatally shot. her premature infant did survive. surveillance cameras in georgia captured a jewelry dealer fighting back against masked men who ambushed him outside of a hotel. they unleashed a plume of pepper spray to try to steel his precious gems. they managed to get one of the bandits shirts and mask off. they left without taking a
