record flooding across parts of texas. >> the national weather service said corpus christi got just over 4 1/2 inches of rain in an hour. this video captured what people are repeatedly told not to do drive directly into flood waters. 500 miles to the north, we're getting a look inside a home in texas, inundated in 3 feet of water. they wade through floodwaters for 200 yards just to get into the house. elsewhere along the gulf coast, those storms bringing damaging hail this video was tweeted out from new orleans, pea-sized hail hitting the hood of the car. >> more heavy rain on the way. a line of storms stretching nearly 900 miles moving across the interim west taking direct aim on hard-hit texas and oklahoma. justin povick with the latest.
